The first and last time Pacquiao fought at a catchweight was against Oscar. Pacman was a natural featherweight, fought once at 135 and you don't give him credit for going up 12 more pounds?

Pac hasn't actually fought at a catchweight yet. That fight was at the WW limit of 147 and was considered a normal WW fight. Catchweight = any agreed upon weight outside the seventeen normal divisions.

He never made his opponents come down in weight to fight him. He started at 119 and never once he made a ***** move for his opponents to come down. He fight all of them at their natural weight.

uncle benny i've been arguing with everybody about this.

they think a catchweight is everytime fighters agree to fight at weight higher or lower than their own.

to me catchweight is a limit in between weight divisions.

if the fight is at 147 , it's a welterweight fight. just because 1 moved up to 147 and the other moved down to 147 doesn't mean it's a catchweight.

it just means one moved down to welterweight and the other moved up to welterweight.
