I've seen his 3 loss & the 2 Marquez fight in which people said he lost. Well I came to the conclusion that you have to be a very strong KO boxer and hit him like he hit Hatton or cause a gash above his eyes & blind him. Morales of course outboxed him in the first fight because PAC couldn't see. His other 2 losses came from lucky 1 punch body blows. He has since improved his defense by clinching at the right moment & never giving opponents a stationary target. He has granite chin too, No one has ever KO'd him there. The closest one was Marquez which made him wobble but quickly recovered. Freddy Roach was asked "Who's the hardest fighter to plan against?" he said Pacquiao.
how do you beat pacquiao?

the only way to beat him is if you set a pace thats a little slower then he's used to, use alot of movement to make him chase you, and counter-punch all night,
you pretty much need to make it a little boreing. -

A slick counter puncher can beat him. Pac does have this heir of invincibility right now but he can be beaten by a great counter puncher.
I agree with TS in that you have to have some heavy hands to beat Pac.
If JMM had a little more power, he would have beaten Pac both times.Comment

Alright, enough with the nut hugging. If you meant for this to be a serious topic and not a topic for pac-huggers. Then I will agree with portuge. Pretty much a great defensive fighter will tear Pacquiao a new one. Everyone Pacquiao has made a name for himself off of, has no defense and no speed to match him. JMM had the speed and timing but had no defense, he just came forward and got dragged into a war both times.
A defensive oriented figher would beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao does too many things that hinder him. Smother himself, throw himself off balance, drop his hands and head hunt. A defensive fighter would see all these things, pick him off, and win whether it be by KO or decision. Pacquiao's chin isn't great, its decent but not great. When he drops his hands he can be caught and put out.
JMM used the wrong punch(the left hook), thats all. If he would have used a right hook and caught Pacquiao open like that, good night. Momentum being thrown into a punch, doubles the damage. Pacquiao was wide open(hands down) and got caught with a punch that went in the same direction as his momentum instead of against his momentum.Comment
