Pretty much a great defensive fighter will tear Pacquiao a new one. Everyone Pacquiao has made a name for himself off of, has no defense and no speed to match him. JMM had the speed and timing but had no defense, he just came forward and got dragged into a war both times.

A defensive oriented figher would beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao does too many things that hinder him. Smother himself, throw himself off balance, drop his hands and head hunt. A defensive fighter would see all these things, pick him off, and win whether it be by KO or decision. Pacquiao's chin isn't great, its decent but not great. When he drops his hands he can be caught and put out.

JMM used the wrong punch(the left hook), thats all. If he would have used a right hook and caught Pacquiao open like that, good night. Momentum being thrown into a punch, doubles the damage. Pacquiao was wide open(hands down) and got caught with a punch that went in the same direction as his momentum instead of against his momentum.
No, Marquez caught him with the right punch but it was just too much at the end of the punch. If Marquez had been a little closer and been able to catch him with it earlier then it would have been lights out for Pac. He was reaching just that little bit too much though.

Anyway, the TS is wrong in that his two KO losses are not both from body punches. I don't know where or how this keeps being brought up but one is from a body punch and the other is a killer punch right on the tip of the chin. Kind of like when Hussein dropped him with that jab and he reacted in the same way. Just fell flat on his face and looked seriously ****ed up. It was to the chin.

Apart from that, Pac is certainly beatable. Quite beatable in fact. He's great but there are a lot of things and there are fighters to day that could beat him. He struggles badly against counter punchers and can be out-boxed by someone with good skills and a good chin ie. Morales.

His style is bad though for going up against counter punchers. He falls right into their style.

Floyd has the best chance, by far.

Timing..you need to time him to a tee, When i rewatch the second JMM fight he was losing on my scorecard because JMM timed him perfectly, Whenever Pacman did the flinching/weaving side-side thing he got nailed just at the right time.

All you gotta do is be Shane, Cotto or Mayweather..I see Shane and Cotto stopping before the 10th because i dont see any possible way for Manny to weather their constant assaults..Mayweather may just UD him..

he can still be outboxed. he was outboxed by marquez ffs. hes evolved alot and his skills are much better than before, but he still cant hang with the best boxers out there when it comes to sheer boxing. he never really faced a slick fighter eighter, a slick world class fighter imo would beat him handily.
