I think Cotto and Steward could make a pretty good team.
Yeah he will help him like he did Jermaine Taylor

Cintron and JT have mental weaknesses- steward also trains Wlad and he has not lost in forever but he has the mental perseverance of a warrior while the other two breakdown.

PS: Steward dropped the other two because of their flaws but stuck with Wlad, blame the fighters not the trainer. He even said that JT never listened to him and fought the way he wanted to.

Who cares? Cotto's jab doesn't score unless he is in NYC. Hitting 1 out of every 7.

Steward can give tips to Cotto because Steward witnessed all Pac's fights in USA, so he might know Pac's witnesses. But Steward can't change Cotto. Miguel is already an A grade boxer.

This fight needs to get done, coz all these talks won't do **** if fight won't happen anyway.

Cotto certainly needs a new trainer none the less

I agree there, I like Cotto but Clottey was picking off everything but a few (the few that mattered)

Thankfully Cotto is already good at in fightin, cuz Steward can't seem to get his fighters to do that. If they hooked up, he could improve Cotto's defense.

I agree that Cotto is at a stage in his career where a new trainer would do nothing for him other than maybe motivate him. And he doesn't need that.

Yeah I can't blame Stewart for Cintron. Either you can take punishment or you can't. Cintron is a front runner and it will show every time her fights an opponent the level of Margarito, Sergio Martinez, or a James Kirkland. An opponent who is going to pressure him with no fear of his power.
