    Do people forget?

That Pacquiao was still in the S. featherweight division last year? That's 130lbs and generally weighing in a pound under. And now people are demanding he faces the true welterweights at 147lbs? Why? Just because he beat up Oscar? Do you guys believe Manny really did it to enter the welterweight division? How about to get his name out there facing the most popular fighter at the time? Pacquiao is a fighter who can weigh in at all these different weights generally because his speed is what makes the difference but his actual body frame is not welterweight. If Pac met Floyd at 143 or Marquez at 140lbs, that's it, call it a career. Why have to face Mosley or Cotto all a sudden when they are really meaningless to his career at this point?

I must of missed the good fights at 140lbs. Are these opponents the general public have heard of? That will make 10+million a fight? I think that 1 opponent has been wiped in 2 rounds. The only thing left that makes sense is Mayweather or Marquez to finish the business. Why face @140lbs a bunch of nobodies for no reason?

I'm fine with him not fighting a top welterweight. He should fight the light welters at 140 or he should fight the top welters at 147. There is already enough weightclasses, we don't need too add more confusion with catchweights. Boxing needs some order. One belt for each division, keep too the stipulated weight limits so the sport makes sense to the casual fans.

because he doesnt wanna move up or down and ww's shouldnt have to move down they can fight each other..so if its the big money fights he wants he should move up..if not he can rule his division

No. They shouldn't fight him and he shouldn't need to fight them. If they want to fight him, ok, they can come down then because it's them that need him, not the other way around and it's their fault if they come in weight drained. Fighting Floyd at around 143lbs would just make sense for that fight. Fighting Marquez at 140lbs is no problem for either fighter. But honestly we can take the WWs out of the picture, they are meaningless to him.

Its been him and Roach calling Cotto out all this time and going to his fight. If he wants to fight Cotto he shouldnt ask for concessions.
But to hear you talk about it, you think he should retire.

Who should he fight at 140? How bout Nate Campbell?? That would be a fight fans fight.
LOL@ the only 10 million plus. Is he a fighter or a ***** businessman like Floyd all of the sudden pricing himself out of real fights?

If he's gonna pick and choose and demand guys drain themselves to fight him, I'd rather he just retire, he's wasting everyones time w/ this ****.

Think about that again. You think theres gonna be money involved vs Nate campbell? That's a fight YOU want to see and sure, afew on the forum I bet, but the general public? Who the hell is nate campbell? Pacquiao wants an opponent at this point in his career that the public knows that way it means more $$$. Is he a business man all a sudden? How about he deserves some money finally after giving us great fights in the lighter weights? Get that $$$ and retire at this point. The best way to get the money and add to legacy is without a doubt against Floyd or Marquez.
