how many times will you dudes doubt the GREAT B-Hop?!?......how many MORE times must he defy the odds?!?.......dont yall think he KNOWS that people will say that at his age this type of lay-off will hurt him?!?......thats B-Hop's whole build..........difficult takes a round and impossible takes 12......its nothing!!!.......B-Hop KNOWS how to maintain and enhance his LEGENDARY status........not if but WHEN he pulls this stunt off he will seperate himself as far as lengedary status from Roy and Joe big time.........I have tons of respect for Froch and Adamek.....mad respect.......but they will graduate from the Executioner's School of Boxing.......lessons will get taught and the students will learn how to lose to a LEGEND!!!!

January? Why not just retire... I don't care about what happens in January of 2010.

If it is Hopkins last fight as a professional then I will not miss it weather he wins or looses.

A good amount of people put down Hopkins and can't wait to see him retire. The truth is he is better than a lot of fighters out there. All the guys that call him out because they want a big pay day and a chance to say I beat Bernard Hopkins will probably lose to him. The man is a special fighter no matter what anyone thinks. And at his age makes it even more special. So dont hate

                  Agree

He is visibly way passed his his best, but still very talented.

That said, i think a 14 month lay off at 45 is pushing it.

                    • Hopkins will stop Froch, probably. Adamek, on the other hand, that's a tough one to predict. Froch is the lesser fighter, so Hopkins will probably face him.

I'd probably pick Adamek to beat Hopkins at this stage, actually.
