Mayweather's tickets are going for $1000 and a few cheaper once.We cant underestimate the recession and also the opponent.
All this begs the question....If Floyd didn't demand so much money, would the tickets still be this expensive? We're a recession, Floyd hasn't fought in a year and a half, as good as his opponent is most casual fans in the US don't really know him, and most of the hardcore fans who do know him consider this a mismatch. I won't jump the gun a say slow ticket sales is the reason for this cancellation. But IF it is, do Floyd and GBP have anybody to blame but themselves?

Damn if I knew I could be sitting ringside for Marg vs Mosley for 25 beans....I would have been touching down at LAX in a heartbeat.

SMH at comparing the cheap seats of other fights to JMM vs Mayweathers more expensive seats.

Obviously ticket prices are comparable to where you are sitting in the arena.

I was thinking the same thing....all seats are priced according to how close you are to the ring, but I do know what you're talking about. Like lets say ring side for Mosley-Margarito is $500, where as a Mayweather-DLH is $1,000 (not accurate, just for the sake of argument).

Where the fight takes place is also a big factor.

            I've been Las Vegas.

Its not like a City like New York or London, people who want to watch it will have to travel, but no one is that excited about the fight is not willing to travel so it only does 3000.

If it was held in London like me and a few other posters said it would prob sell out IMO.

Too bad the O2 arena is probably the quietest arena in the universe, even for so many seats filled. I think European boxing fans aren't quiet as rambunctious or maybe because of the diversity in America that they're always louder.
