In all fairness Clottey was the only welter that has always said he would figt Williams. I even recall them at one ponit trying to make the fight happen.

At 147 Clottey is capable of doing what Quintana did to P-will, he's a pin point counter puncher and i'm wagering that P-will's punch volume will drop considerably if he decides to come down to 147 ever again.

        • Clottey doesnt have the style to beat Williams like Quintana did, Q is a fluid mover/boxer he is very underrated because of the devastating beating he took of cotto but that was the best cotto ever...and quintana caught cotto on a bad night.

          • Williams fight Clottey? Why? Clottey isn't even close to the best welterweight out there. He lost to Margarito and Cotto now. Yeah he was beating the **** out of Margacheato I'll give him that.

What?? Clottey can do what Quintana did..probably even better seeing how P-Will hasn't fought at 147 in like 2 years. Clottey can counter punch. Go watch what he did to Margarito, he had Margarito's ear bleeding and his face bruised up at the end of there fight. He's good at timing guys as they come in and he can give angles and movement when he needs to. Clottey's much better than Quintana.

              • People need to seriously stop this nonsense about Williams ducking Clottey. It's getting old and boring to be quite frank. Arum has contributed to two good fights falling apart involving Williams, Margarito, and Pavlik. So why wouldn't he mess this one up too? What kind of money is Arum offering Williams to fight Clottey? The call out by Clottey holds no weight for that very reason. I'm not using money as an excuse, but if the promoter of the fighter who is talking **** doesn't put any money on the table at all, then it is just a smoke screen. Williams has got bigger and better things to move on to.

Clottey doesnt throw enough punches to beat Williams..Cotto out worked Clottey.....Imagine him vs. Paul....
