I'd be down for a Bhop rematch, but I can understand how most wouldn't cuz the fight was dull. I'd be cool wit him fightin Dawson-Glen 2 winner also, but I doubt he'd wanna fight either. I think Joe is retired for good.
Joe Calzaghe Would Consider a 10 Million Dollar Return

And I actually hear Bernard Hopkins catching some of the same venom that Calzaghe is getting when it comes to avoiding certain fighters like Dawson for example. So to me, these Calzaghe fans think that their boy is the only one that catches criticism for being a ducker when that's not the case. That's why I would've been interested in a Dawson-Calzaghe fight if Chad would have beaten Glen Johnson a lot more impressively than what he did. But now it's obvious that Dawson has unfinished business with Johnson. I thought he lost that fight. But he is doing the right thing by making an attempt to eliminate the bad taste a lot of people had in their mouths about the decision in the initial encounter. I think what Calzaghe should do is fight Paul Williams to be honest. Paul called him out. If Williams was able to beat Shane Mosley impressively then he would have the resume to justify a fight with Joe. He would have names like Winky, Margarito, and Mosley. I know some people may view the fight as a circus act because of the so-called size difference, but I honestly think Paul Williams would stand a better chance of beating Calzaghe than Chad Dawson. Chad is just lacking that ability to be consistent on offense, and that is the type of fighter that Calzaghe would be able to exploit.Comment

And Joe didn't make any kind of splash over here in America. That fight with Roy Jones totally tanked where PPV is concerned. It's like nobody over here was interested in it. I know he probably would have beaten Pavlik after I saw what Hopkins did to him. But before that, it wasn't such a foregone conclusion to a lot of people. I saw threads on that potential fight that generated like 14 pages, and it's like nobody cared about the Roy Jones fight. The Pavlik fight was in high demand and to me, Hopkins took shine off of Joe's career even though it may have given people a higher opinion of Joe's victory over Bernard. It looks like a ***** move to let a 43 year old man do the heavy lifting for you regardless of how you Calzaghe fans want to slice it.Comment

Any boxing fan ought to know that if there is one sport you need to get out of and stay out of when you have had enough, it's boxing. I really shouldn't have to give examples of the guys who called that wrong; it's a very long list of very famous names.Joe Calzaghe strikes me as a guy who doesn't even care about his resume. It's like he doesn't want to strive for greatness. That's what separates guys like Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, and Bernard Hopkins from him. They don't use age as an excuse to retire when they know there's more to accomplish. They actually did some things in the prime of their career that mattered on top of it.
Age is only part of that, and it's rarely an 'excuse' for anything.. except losing.Comment

I think he would get A LOT of credit, if he fought Froch, Dawson or Hopkins for the second time!Joe's had 8 month lay-offs due to injury (I'm guessing, dont know for sure but I think he's bound to). I'd love it if he fought Dawson and Froch. He wouldnt get much credit, but as a fan I'd like to see it. He might get £10M between the 2 if promoted right (in other words let a real promoter do it, not yourself)
P.S. There is no fight in the world for which he would get such money... Well, except Pacquaio or Floyd probably
