The cut hurt Cotto, and Clottey made it close, but really he was a few tweaks away from taking the fight. If not for the knockdown it would've be a different scoring outcome all-together. I think he might've got a draw easily.

In a rematch I might even favor Clottey. He showed he belongs at the top of the division.
He only did it in the sixth.....
and for about 5 seconds in another round rofl

come on! i gave cotto the 7th on the night of the fight. it's a different situation then. i watched the fight yesterday for the sole purpose of scoring it.

i came out with the same result either way.

Notice the majority of Cotto fans give it to Cotto?

The majority of the neutrals give it to Clottey

Cotto clearly lost the 7th round. No way should anyone of scored it in his favor.

The seventh was one of the most dominant rounds in the whole fight for Clottey. Cotto was all over the shop. If you score that round for Cotto, you're looking at the wrong stuff mate. Big round for Clottey. Might as well have scored the 7th, 8th and 9th for Cotto too.

I agree that the there was no way Cotto won the 7th, that was a good round for Clottey, especially considering the 6th was a big round for Cotto. Anyways, I scored it the exact same way the second time I watched it.

                    Rounds 1, 4, 6, 10, 11 and 12 for Cotto. Rounds 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 for Clottey.

114-113 Clottely was my score, wont bother watching it again.. as i think i'm pretty spot on and when I watched it the first time i was rewinding it constantly to get a better look at the exchanges and would score on who came out best.. so i don't see myself changing the score.. people who scored it clear cut for Cotto seriously need to learn how to score a fight.. I was being generous towards Cotto because hes one of my favourite fighters and hes not scared to fight anyone.. but even then I could only give him a draw at best.
