Is ESPN and Dan Rafeal a Cotto fan? Is Harold Lederman a Cotto fan? Is two of the Ring Magazine.com writers Cotto fans? I mean the fight was close but no one is playing favorite here.

That is the same scorecard I have. I was thinking of taking away a point from Clottey in round 6 because he pretty much did nothing and let Cotto hamer him but I left it like that.

I had it the same as you but I gave Clottey the 3rd since he landed a few clean punches. I didn't really see anything clean from Cotto in that round.

Clottey could of won the fight had he stepped up in the last 3, hell even 2 rounds. Cotto looked like a discouraged fighter to me going into the 10th round, The cut was seriously bothering him and had Clottey stepped up his workrate in those rounds (which he could of) he would of won imo.

Credit to Cotto for fighting through the fight with a cut that was clearly bothering him.

              I can't disagree with that.

              It was a close round.

Having rewatched the fight last night, I have to say I was more impressed with Cotto on second viewing. His defense was actually very effective and the majority of Clotteys shots were caught by Cotto's gloves even if it looked like they were connecting. Cotto's offence was also used effectively, he didn't waste too many shots and he even managed to penetrate Clotteys tight guard intelligently. I thought it was quite a clear 115-113 victory for Cotto, but possibly 115-112 if the first was scored 10-8.

I dont understand how people let 2 left hooks steal the 10th round.
I saw them and was like " welp, cotto won the round on the judges cards for that "
but it had no effect on my judging what so ever.. it was a clear clottey round imo.
I'm not fooled by stuff that happends at the end of a round.
