I watch MMA but to be honest there are very few talented fighters. most are grunts with huge hearts and lil skill. yea I give credit to guys like Anderson Silva but when it comes to boxing elites in comparison to MMA elites the MMA elites dont hold a candle to boxing elites.

And what do you consider skill? I bet you only watch stand-up and then turn the TV off when it goes to the ground because you can't appreciate that aspect.

I watch MMA all the time, yea its entertaining as **** but doesnt impress me because the lack of skill. Nick ****in Diaz was claimed to have the boxing skill of most professionals, gimme a break the guy doesnt ****in move hes a plodding slow **** who pitter patters.

What i see on the ground makes me laugh even more. half the guys dont know how to properly grapple with the exceptions of the wrestlers and Brazilians

I am predominantly MMA. But that doesn't mean I can't like boxing as well. I prefer MMA because it's more diverse and that makes it more exciting. That's the only comparison I make.

But that doesn't mean I completely shut out boxing. I love Roy Jones Jr and Manny Pacquiao. Being this is the boxing section I will come to the defense of MMA because some of you guys are being narrow minded.

Okay try to understand. In boxing all you can do is boxing.

Boxers like Pacquiao and Mayweather, that's all they do.

So an MMA fighter who has boxing as one discipline is never going attain that level of elite boxing because they have to worry about wrestling and grappling. What you consider "skill" being world class stand-up fighters, is irrelevant because there are phenomenal word class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighters who are extremely skilled.
