Hopkins does have options he can fight Froch for good money and theres always a Roy Jones rematch that people would pay to see.

Froch would be an interesting fight, but it doesn't offer the type of money Hopkins wants.

And if he won (which I think he would), people would likely just dog him again for fighting a guy a few pounds smaller than himself.

As for Jones, Hopkins said that will never happen. Not after he saw how badly Roy has deteriorated in the Calzaghe fight. He said he didn't want to take advantage of Roy and cash in on his name, or give the fans a fight that wouldn't be as great as it would've been years ago.

Side note ; Hopkins is absolutely correct about Mosley.

The man just had a career defining performance where he totally destroyed the #1 guy in his division.

And now nobody wants to fight him.

He's practically begging for someone to fight him, while HBO is focusing all of their attention on Floyd (who's done nothing in almost 2 years).

Gotta agree with Hops and the Bringer here man. HBO have not been to helpful of ol Hops, the least they could do is give him one last big fight. I mean the guy is a legend, that doesn't come around often so give the guy a fight, and a belt in another division. A SMW or CW belt woulda been awesome, and both he coulda exploited and looked good imo, but it's gone on too long now and I can't see him fighting anyone unfortunately, too much politics.

Mosely hasn't been treated great either, but I can't help but feel he's been a bit lazy just having had one fight back at WW and now standing back demanding the world. Keep busy Shane, and flirt with the idea of others fights a bit more and you might bring some interest.

Both are gona be left in the lurch imo because of just waiting around only for something big. Not gona happen unfortunately.
