I don't think Pacquiao vs Mosley should happen, anything below 147 Mosley will most likely be drained and dehydrated... at 147 Pacquiao will be outweighed by 10+ pounds on fight night and will be at a big disadvantage... either way both will be at a big disadvantage. No offense to Mosley I respect him and understand he wants a big pay day but I just don't think it will be fair on either fighter both ways.

Boxing is a business first, sport second. Why is it wrong to try and cash in. Mosley said he will fight P Will but he wants to fight Pac and Mayweather first. Mosley unlike most fighters want to be and beat the best. He wants to be the only fighter who has been at the top of the P4P list ten years apart. Pac and Mayweather are at the top of the list. He's 37 years old, and have been fighting the best competition and the most avoided fighters his whole career. Whats wrong with trying to get a little money and fight the best before his career is done wit. He is not gonna get more credit for beating P Will than if he beat Pac and Mayweather.

(or williams, though he may be pretty weak at WW)
Arum will not let this happen because after December Cotto will probably leave his company so he needs to give Cotto something big to try to convince him in resigning with his company.

Mosley does have an option, knowing that he can't land Pacman, PBF or Cotto and being that he is ducking Paul Williams, why not fight Clottey.

I have mentioned this in other threads because i beleive it could be a good fight.

          Can anybody say Mosley-Clottey??????
If Mosley wins, than he could fight the winner of Cotto-Pacman.

agree nobody on here wants to see pac face a real test or lose its like is this boxing or is it pick on the guy you know will lose show, on ppv? this is ridiculous it will be the 4th fight in a row pac will takew against previously kod guys, and then we have to hear how great pac is afterwards for beating a guy we all knew hed beat in the first place absolutey ****n ridiculous man.

Cotto beat Mosley, so this **** could be going round and round.

Mosley blantanly ducking Williams, denying berto of a match, saying a Cotto rematch is a stepbackwards and begging to fight Pacquiao si making him look like a straight up *****!!!!!
Man, you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, that's for sure. You're saying that Mosley is ducking Paul Williams, and I agree he is. But what you fail to mention is how your hero has ducked him on multiple occasions. Who did Cotto fight to get his title? It wasn't Paul Williams. And Arum and Cotto were a hundred miles and running when Paul schooled Margarito. You need to be consistent and not use double standards.

Mosley beat a plaster-less Margarito. He didn't beat Cotto (everyone at Golden Boy seems to have erased 11/10/2007 from their memory banks). Their claim to the fight is that Shane is the "real" welter champ. The real welter champ should be defending (like Cotto & Berto), not looking for fights with lightweights or light WW, like Mayweather. As time passes by, the Margarito win looks less impressive & Shane gets older, exponentially older.

Schaefer says the fighter Pacquiao should be facing is Shane Mosley. He points to Antonio Margarito knocking Cotto out last July, and Mosley knocking out Margarito in January. This scumbag Swiss cheese banker needs to STFU!

They could have easily made a Floyd/Mosley fight, why didn't they? It's because they want a cut on every Pacman's cake and don't want to be left holding an empty bag on a megafight. They also want to appease Floyd who they thought could sell a fight on his own and gave him the moon and the stars for a tune-up. GBP got marquee (and greedy) fighters on their own stable who couldn't print their own money, that's why they're begging for the big named Top Rank fighters to print money with them.

I'm not dissing Mosley, who deserves a big payday after all the challenges he took like there's no tomorrow, but since he's either too big, too small, or too damn good to get a fight nowadays, he should take a Berto or a Clottey fight for now so he can make ends meet, try to put out another impressive performance, and get his fanbase a bit bigger than a townhall meeting, and maybe, the Pacquiaos and the Mayweathers will look his way. I'll give him a pass on a PWill fight, since he almost always lays it on the line most of the time.

After the Hopkins statement, this Swiss cheese banker got a big slap in the face as a wake-up call and finally decided to find a fight for Mosley.

mosley did beat cotto. you saw what happend in that fight. he hurt cotto 3 times and at one point the ref stepped in the middle of the action for no reason at all. be clearly the fans knew something stanked about that decision.
