The one thread said that Pacquiao demanded Arum to make the fight with Cotto for November.I wonder why? Could it be that after 6 rounds, Cotto seems to get tired and retreat? I'm starting to suspect that Cotto might have stamina issues just like Jermaine Taylor.The difference is, Cotto fights smarter down the stretch. He's retreated after 6 rounds in his last 3 fights.Pacquiao and Roach are smart guys.They know if they can survive 6, Manny's speed and pressure could win them the fight.That is definitely not the case with Mosley. So that's the reason Mosley is the second choice. But if Manny Pacquiao is the best p4p fighter in the entire world, he needs to fight an elite black fighter.Be it Mosley, Mayweather, or the winner of Bradley vs Campbell, prove me and the critics wrong. I just don't know why Cotto gets defended like he does. I only give him props for the willingness to fight who he has fought. Fair play. But why doesn't he have any intentions of giving rematches in close fights? He also was never hot on the idea of avenging his loss to Margarito until that plaster situation came about. And even then, I've got my reservations about whether he is willing to do it now. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even give a f#ck about Margo and I'm not a Mayweather fan at the same time. I just call it how I see it.

I understand where you coming from, but if the same man you beat accept the defeat and says himself that he got beat, then u should keep forward. Mosley did get beat, but when he did want the rematch he said he wouldnt take it @ MSG, but thats where most of the times nowadays Cotto fights right before the PR parade. I DO understand a Clottey fight though, he deserves it, and even Cotto said that if thats what they want and the promoters and all agree that he will give him the rematch. Also, Cotto AND his promoters had alreasy scheduled of a rematch wit Margarito, before it aired out, before the Jennings and Mosley vs Marga fight, it was supposed to be made instead of Clottey, but if not Margo then why not another strong opponent that is also an avoided fighter like Clottey? That makes a similar Cotto vs Marga.

But this is the same thing that you Cotto fans bashed Floyd for. I think Cotto is a lot better than Sharmba Mitchell, but I still view him as not being on Mosley or Williams' level. So to me, Pacquiao is going after the most vulnerable guy. This is why I respect JMM a lot more than guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao. Because he looks to horizons. The only guy that he didn't fight was Nate Campell, but Campell failed to make weight in his last fight. And Nacho said that JMM would fight Campell for all the belts if they were able to get past Juan Diaz. Cotto deserves credit for fighting Clottey, Mosley, and Margarito. But he won a vacant belt that belonged to Paul Williams. That's not taking on all comers.

So you're trying to say that he is ducking P.Will? everyboxer cant fight everyone @ the same time, you need time for that. And dont say Mosley is on a higher level than Cotto because Cotto clearly beat Mosley, only to the blind eye say that Mosley beat him, he was coming back @ him but like Clottey he did not win the Championship rounds when needed.

Arum will not let this happen because after December Cotto will probably leave his company so he needs to give Cotto something big to try to convince him in resigning with his company.

Mosley does have an option, knowing that he can't land Pacman, PBF or Cotto and being that he is ducking Paul Williams, why not fight Clottey.

I have mentioned this in other threads because i beleive it could be a good fight.

schaefer should realized that margarito is guilty of using illegal wraps in his fights including his fight with cotto. but when an illegal substance was taken from his hands, he lose badly to mosley. in other words, margarito only wins a fight with forbidden handwraps. but schaefer, in case he forgot, should also realized than cotto decisions mosley, the reason why arum picked miguel to slug it out with pacman. pacman-cotto will definitely sell better than pac-mosley.

schaefer and golden boy must have patience. surely mosley is next in line for pac after his demolition of cotto in november.

Looks like Goldenboy is trying desperately to get in on Pacquiao's green. They got this little inter-promotional thing going on with Floyd and JMM, but call foul when Pacquiao and Cotto decide to mix it up.

See this is because Top Rank has Manny and Cotto, both are big draws. GoldenBoy has big names, but they need megapopular guys to make money off of.

Mosley is decently popular, but not 5 million dollars per fight popular.
JMM is fairly popular, but not as popular as he should be.
Floyd is big, but he is not really a Golden boy fighter and demands huge paychecks.

Goldenboy needs Top Rank fighters for their own top fighters to go against in order to make money. They got some spoiled guys there in Mosley, Hopkins and Floyd who want big checks, but cannot generate that revenue on their own.
