delahoya went down a division for pacquiao.

cotto is too good to meet pacquiao?

even delahoya met pacquiao a 1/3 of the way.

I'd give full credit to Pacquiao for beating Cotto even at 145. If Cotto makes 146 for a fight, I seriously doubt 1-2 lbs is going to make or break Cotto. If Cotto loses, it would be because Pac is simply a better fighter IMO.

I'm a Cotto supporter and am giving a slight edge to Pacquiao, so go figure I guess.

Rehydrating too much usually means you don't stay in shape between fights, which isn't necessarily a bad thing (well in the long run it is). I remember Joan Guzman gained like 35-40 pounds overnight against Soto. Joshua Clottey also gained around 25-30 pounds or more against Diego Corrales.

So it's not like if Cotto rehydrates to 158-160 than that definitely mean he's fine.
Too me if he rehydrates to his normal weight, then it's fine. Oscar is a good example of something might being a bit wrong, being that he didn't gain hardly any weight. But oscar went down from 154 to 147, which is a lot different than going down from 146 to 145 (or 144). Oscar also got down to 147 weeks and weeks before the fight, his strategy wasn't right.

I just hope the fight happens and there's no controversy. Whoever wins beat the best version of the other person.
          Same.

            He gets credit from me.

I feel Cotto could make 144-145 no problem.

                whatever.

just tired of all the scared cotto fans trying to find an excuse.

make it at 147 for all i care. either way pac can beat him.

a loss to cotto for a former flyweight , natural featherweight is nothing.

if cotto loses , it'd be embarassing.

I don't think Mosley could make 144 and not be a corpse.
for 10 million + i think cotto can loose those 2 lbs.

IMO at the cotto/clottey weigh in, miguel looked thicker than he did in the Marg weigh in.

I think the real question is say Cotto just walked Pac down and dismantled him, would he get credit or what it be "well he's huge what did you expect?"

In the view of the boxing public it's a win-win for Pac and a lose-lose for Cotto.
Co sign, cant say it any better!!!!!!!!
