Wladimir would easily beat prime Tua

The only difference is that Wlad paces himself better now. But that had nothing to do with his loss to Sanders. He couldn't take the punches and that's it. It was a legitimate loss.Comment

The one punch the straight left or the left hook is Wlad's kryptonite.
Sanders and Brewster had those in spades. And so does Tua.
And all three hit very very hard with them.
Wlad has gotten much better dealing with left hands under Manny, but it's not like he faced huge punchers with wicked lefts after either.Comment

The fact is that he has a better resume than Chagaev.
One gets called a fat bum, the other is being talked about as if he's something special.
Maybe Chagaev will turn out to be better than he's seemed so far. But an MD over Valuev and an SD over Ruiz cannot be rated above KOing Rahman, Ruiz, Moorer, Izon and Maskaev, no matter how you look at it.
Chag was also taken the distance by Skelton, who has since been knocked out by Martin Rogan. I like Rogan a lot, but he is not world class or even close.Comment

no,,,,,,he uses his jab more. fights taller and moves much more than he used to. steward has improved his fundamentals. he's boringer now,,,but more effective as wellComment

I wouldnt pick tua to win so much as 10 out of 10 let alone 100 over anyone who could box a bit. much too one dimensional and maybe it was tua that wouldnt rematch ruiz? who knows what went down behind the scenes. ruiz's new style of jab/grab and smother would have given tua problems for sure as it did just about everyone he's faced besides roy jonesComment

Tua had never given a chance for title fight again except that with lennox.. Tua will smoke wlad's ass..Comment
