theres no point taking it easy now. hes p4p number 1 and in the pinacle of his career. mosley and clottey didnt ko cotto, but that doesnt mean pac has no chance. id say pac has a great chance, i mean if he can spark hatton out in 2 then you cannot under rate pacs power. but more important hes lightning fast aswell. cotto could get ko'd. but by the same token cotto could ko pac aswell if he can pin him down on the ropes.

He isnt comparing them.. he's comparing the situation. No one said pac would win, look what happened.

You could argue that Cotto would give him trouble because of pacs last 2 performances, but guess what.. he was never hit in either fight.. So we have NO idea what pacs weaknesses are at 140+ right now, so our predictions are pure speculation now.

juan lazcano almost kod hatton 2 fights before pac blasted him out so i wouldnt put too much in that hatton ko. plus hatton and cotto dont have similar styles(cotto doesnt run face 1st into punches) i give credit to pac for going up in weight and beating hatton and de la hoya but cotto is nothing like the 2 and will stop pac.

I hope Miguel doesnt fight him at a catchweight. The fact he weighed in at 146 just means he was in great shape and felt he had to be against Clottey who was considered at least as tough as Margarito. Theres a difference between being in great shape and being drained. Pac's team has probably been watchng Cotto's fights at 140 when he didnt have as much steam and wobbled more easily.

I'd lose all respect for Pac if he forces Cotto to take this fight at a catchweight, win or lose. The fabulous four never fought at catchweights...

I'd pick the Cotto for last night to brutaly KO Pac in the mid-to-later rounds while giving up the early rounds.

Therefore the weight should established on how low cotto feels comfortable droppping too. We all know that Manny has no problem in stepping up weight divisions. So the weight I think should be determined by Cotto
i couldnt agree more. if pac wants cotto the fight should be at 147 for cottos belt. some pac fans contradict themselfs by saying that his KO defeats dont matter because it was a long time ago, hes a natural super featherweight and he started at 106lb. so therefore shudnt be fighting at 147. well this is TODAY, and pac is the 140lb champ.

it was the same for hatton in the sense that he wanted to fight mayweather, so the fight was on mayweathers terms at his weight. so i think if pac wants cotto, then cotto should tell him 147 or il just fight somebody else.

i agree to an extent, but cotto isnt exactly on fire at the minute. he did well last saturday but wasnt too far away from losing. he lost to margarito which will have taken a bit out of him. clottey, margarito, jennings and gomez are not as quick as pac. the fight with hatton, you cant take credit away. im a hatton fan and its clear to see that pac was just too good. hatton did go face first, but when hasnt he? and nobody else managed to do what pac did.

hes not on fire at the minute because he has had tough fights with margs mosley and clottey 3 out of the top 4 in loaded ww division. if cotto fought david diaz hatton and that version of hoya he would look like the baddest man in boxing.

Glad you concur with my earlier post mate, but in regards to no one else doing this to Hatton, has Hatton ever went into a fight as unprepared in his career than against Pac? I believe if Hatton had still been with Billy Graham that fight would have lasted longer, the outcome would not have been different, Pac was far too good for him. But look at the slow pictures of the KO punch, you can see it in Hattons face that he a) wasnt Hungry b) was scared c) and was unprepared. He looked as though he was waiting for that punch to put him out of his misery, there wasnt that look he had against Tszyu, or even against Mayweather. I think that fight had alot to do with Hattons inabilities on the night as opposed to Pacs greatness on the night
