If you feel that way fine. But Cotto was lookin like the Cotto of old up until the 3rd round when that butt occured. How you can feel Clottey is better than Cotto when you agree with the decision victory is odd. It was a close fight but other than the shenanigans with the headbutts and bodyslams i wouldnt have had any complaints if the decision had gone either way.

I would've agreed that Williams is the best welterweight but he just fought his last fight 2 divisions higher. And like I keep saying. Mosley has 1 awesome victory over Margarito but got stretched by and was losing on the cards until the very last second of the fight by Mayorga who wasnt even a top 10 welter.

i would say prime barrera at 126, drew and won against prime JMM at 126 and 130, and little past prime morales... not bad if you come to think of it...

Arum knows neither of these guys have the capability of beating Shane Mosley so he's going to milk this fight for what it's worth for Cotto's WBOgus strap, but I aint buying it.

Before the Clottey fight i had this fight as a tossup but now i think Pac takes this. My reason is that i think the fact that Cotto has been in 2 wars in his last 3 fights and taking this fight so soon without having a lot of time to heal up will hurt him and i think Pac could even batter him. I want to see this fight because it will be exciting and great for the sport but i would not be mad at Cotto if he waited till next year to fight Pac and maybe fight some other WW like Berto or Cintron

Guys. Don't be fooled by Arum's comments. The reason Pacquaio wants the Cotto fight is he saw the same thing I saw in the Clottey fight. Cotto is not that strong and doesn't pack as big of a punch as advertised. Plus, he can be hit very easily. Pacquaio knows he can win that fight easily, especially if it is fought at a catchweight.

I don't care to be honest. That **** don't matter to me because the victory was some weak sauce. Does anyone think Cotto is going down in the history books as a greater fighter than Shane Mosley. I sure don't. And Cotto didn't even beat the past prime version as convincingly as Vernon Forrest did. Mosley holds the crushing victory over Margarito as well as Cotto's old WBA strap. And Cotto holds Paul Williams' WBO strap by default.
