Damn who is this writer? Ive never heard so much nonsense in my life. The Calderon fight was a draw for me. 1, 3, and 6 was for Mayol while 2, 4, and 5 was in Calderons favor. Im a bit dissapointed even if Calderon retained the belt since I felt Calderon was just getting warmed up. Also, now Calderon doesnt have a perfect record. Oh well, Alls well that ends well.

P.S. After the first cut Calderon got furious, Mayol looked like he wet his pants.

as far as im concern, calderon is the clear winner. what i can't undertsand is why the judges go to the scorecards when the ref stopped the fight because of the cut. if a boxer can't continue the fight because of a cut the boxer simply lost by technical decision.

I agree with you that it should have been mayol by technical knockout, but disagree that it should have been a draw..Mayol was winning the early rounds and if you notice that the judge that gave Calderon the nod is a latino or possibly puerto rican...smells fishy. Plus if they would have gave it to Mayol the puerto ricans from NY would have rioted. When they make this rematch and they better, I hope they make it in the Philippines..
