When you put all your focus into one fighter, you cant look at anything with any level of objectivity, to the point where you may make a claim to critisize someone, then turn around and commit the exact same crime. Its become frustrating to even read this place right now since we have topics like this one.

The point of this topic is

"Im going to laugh at the amount of pay per view buys that floyd/jmm does because i hope it will do less than pac/jmm so i can have more leverage to argue on this messageboard about who possibly might be more popular so i can post in negotiation threads with this piece of evidence, to argue my fav fighters case, even though i will see not one penny of it in the end."

You basically want "mr boat buyer" and Jmm, two of boxings best, to have a bad show, so it can elevate your own fighter? I would never wish that on any fighter except margarito. Why would i want a fighters success to be impeded? Get a ****ing life.
Wrong my friend. I made this as a joke thread. I was on some thread earlier this morning where some pachaks and floyd stans were arguing about floyd having generated far more ppv buys against common opponents than Pacquiao and saying that the floyd/jmm fight will do triple what Pac/jmm 2 does in ppv buys.

I fully expect Floyd/Jmm to do triple or quadruple what Pac/Jmm 2 did. But given what both Pac and Jmm have achieved since that fight and that this floyd fight being a welterweight fight...its a ****** and unreasonable comparison and is no way definitive proof that floyd is a bigger draw against a common opponent.

the higher ranked fighter should get the bigger cut, what if some garbage fighter with 50 losses had tons of fans.

Either way, Pacquiao only got popular after the DLH fight, it's unfair to match him up when he fought Marquez back then.

They drew the same numbers with Hatton, Mayweather only got a few more because it wasn't during the recession. I've run into many more people who know who Pacquiao is than Mayweather.
