    true.

either way i could give a rat's ass how much they get paid.

as long as they get paid enough and not robbed blind by their promoters and managers.

I am noticing more and more that hardcore fans of simply one fighter just come and go on this board. I can recall countless names of people who have been a fan of a fighter on here, but when that fighter is inactive or they retire, they are no longer here. When you put all your focus into one fighter, you cant look at anything with any level of objectivity, to the point where you may make a claim to critisize someone, then turn around and commit the exact same crime. Its become frustrating to even read this place right now since we have topics like this one.

The point of this topic is

"Im going to laugh at the amount of pay per view buys that floyd/jmm does because i hope it will do less than pac/jmm so i can have more leverage to argue on this messageboard about who possibly might be more popular so i can post in negotiation threads with this piece of evidence, to argue my fav fighters case, even though i will see not one penny of it in the end."

You basically want "mr boat buyer" and Jmm, two of boxings best, to have a bad show, so it can elevate your own fighter? I would never wish that on any fighter except margarito. Why would i want a fighters success to be impeded? Get a ****ing life.

        nothing wrong with that.

if one fighter can get them to like the sport , eventually they'll start liking other people.

That isnt the problem, i dont mind fans, even the hardcore ones, but i do mind discussions like this. I dont expect everyone to love boxing to the extent that say, you and me do, take for instance, YOU, I disagree with you alot, on alot of things, but i agree with you also, there is a good medium between the two, but never in my life would i see you, or would you see me, making a topic like this just to elevate a fighter i liked. Its just ******.

Thats why you have to decipher who is here with an agenda, and who is here to actually talk about the sport. Once you do figure out who is you, its easier to decide which posts to reply to.

Someone made a thread yesterday about how the Mayweather/JMM fight hasnt sold out and they were saying they hope it doesnt sell out because it would mean Mayweather isnt a draw and pacquiao would have to take the major share of the PPV.

My question is what has that got to do with us??? the fight is a month away and people want the fight to fail why?? just to laugh at one person??? are peoples lives that affected by what Mayweather says or does for people to want boxing to go down??

I would pesonally love to see a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight and i dont care how the fight gets made as long as we get to see 2 of the biggest fighters of now getting in the ring together squaring off, None of us would see a single pence of what either fighter would get so wy bother?

Some of these guys have no girl or wife, therefore, no son to live vicariously through.

                  A fighter fills that need.

Pretty much. On the otherhand who gives a **** about the bigger draw? That **** doesn't matter once they step into that ring together.
