With all due respect, true weight or not the only thing that matters is the division a fighter CHOOSES to fight in. Im all for bringing back same day weigh ins, but if you fight at welterweight, fight welterweights.. Nobody is forcing Floyd to stay in that division. But as long as he remains there he will be criticized for not fight the best at that weight.

Im not disagreeing with you on that point ,,, I only say he is not a true WW , if he chooses to fight there it doesn't change his true bodyweight , you see I give him credit for fighting much bigger guys , I dont just take it for granted and expect him to be able to beat every fighter with total disregard to weight , thats wht the guys do they dont give him any credit for fighting in a bigger class on the contrary they expect it , and the funny thing is it only seem to be a set of rules applying to Floyd , like nobody expects Mosley or Cotto to fight Pavlik , but they expect Floyd and Pac to fight big WWs and call them a ***** for wanting to pull it down to their size , double standard I say .

The difference is, in my opinion, they're fighting the guys in their division. Floyd is a great fighter so great things are expected. Especially when he talks the talk. He hasn't been forced to stay at welterweight. But as long as he is there fans will not only want to see him fight the best guys, they'll expect it. I have no doubt he can handle the weight. I would pick him over almost anybody else at 147. But if you're gonna keep making excuses.....just don't fight there. Personally I would expect that from any fighter who chose a particular division. That isn't hate, its just what I want as a fan.

Floyd should have dominated LW instead of moving up

Battered Pac, JMM, Barrera, Diaz, Morales and defended his belt several times

The Oscar fight lured him up though

              I don't get it either.

Floyd is the only WW to win a title at 154.

He sees himself as a WW.

Fanny Pac is the one that should have dominated LW instead of moving up.

Come on man Floyds ego wouldnt let him say that he would say he could beat klitchko thats a fighters mentality , just like Pac will fight but its Roach saying they are too big , the trainers know whats going on and do the dirty work ,,,, the point is yes he fights WWs but he is not a true WW in terms of size , its not his best weight , look at his body across 135 140 147 its easy to see the fluid ,, Im not arguing the legality's on this just the weight numbers on fight night , but I guess what view you have comes from whether you a believe a fighter is what ever division he decide to fight in or what the scales say he is in a pound for pound combat sport .

Floyd fought the best Jr Middle but gets no cedit.
Which JMW was the best that Floyd fought? Oscar? The guy that had not won a fight there in three years, apart from the BS Mayorga fight? The guy that won a gimme title over Mayorga who had just won the vacant title? The guy that had been beaten by Mosley, then got a dodgy win over Sturm then got knocked out at MW by Hopkins and then won the gimme fight over Mayorga was the best JMW in the world? How do you figure that?

Name a better JMW than Oscar at the time.
