All the losses on Johnson's record were either competitive and the other opponent had to work for the victory or they were highway robberies except his second fight with Tarver and his TKO loss to a prime version of Bernard Hopkins.

I agree that Dawson actually is a more technically skilled boxer than Paul Williams. But that doesn't make him the better fighter at all. If you don't see the flaws in Dawson's game I don't know what to tell you. Everybody has their opinion. And what I see in Chad Dawson is a fighter who takes breaks in rounds (the reason I think Clottey will lose to Cotto tonight), lack of punching power and aggressiveness, and he doesn't have an A-level defense believe it or not. And you are calling me a hater. LMAO. Look, I don't really hate Chad Dawson on a personal level. In fact, I think he's got a really nice personality outside of the ring. And I think he's probably a devoted family man. But as a fighter, I'm just not feeling him. He's not as good as his hardcore fans make him out to be. Yeah the fight against Johnson was close, but I don't see how Johnson unofficially won because it was a close fight, like Mayweather-Castillo I. His power is good enough, remember he's boxer, not a puncher, he was able to hurt Adamek who has an iron chin. So Dawson has enough pop in his punches to hurt anyone at LHW. His defense, stamina, and workrate is okay, these areas he can improve on, and he will. And he's shown that he's willing to knock out opponents when he sees an opportunity.

I give him credit for his victories over Tarver, Adamek, and Harding. I'm not taking anything away from those. But I think he showed vulnerability even in those fights. I saw of how he got clocked in the 10th round in that fight with Adamek. Credit to him for getting back up and fighting back, but he sacrificed the rest of the rounds with the keep you off of me type fighting. But the heavy lead he built up earlier in the fight is what earned him the victory fair and square. But it does make me wonder what would have happened if it had been a 15 rounder. And I know it may have been a slip, but how the hell does it make you look impressive getting knocked down from an Eric Harding jab?

See, this is the difference between a fan and a nuthugger. Johnson is one of my favorite fighters, but I wouldn't favor him over Bernard Hopkins in a rematch.
