I think Pavlik is avoiding Abraham too, and it's as clear as day. But you can't tell me that Abraham can't fight someone like Paul Williams or Vernon Forrest. If he doesn't get an impressive victory on his resume, Arum is gonna use that as a reason not to make the fight. I know Abraham destroyed Miranda impressively, but that victory is getting less and less meaningful, especially after he got his ears boxed off by Ward. I think Pavlik should be held to that same standard of fighting top opponents too. But being the recognized #1 in the division gives him more leverage to pick and choose his fights. I will continue to not have any respect for Pavlik if he does that. But it is what it is.
Is Pavlik Ducking Abraham?

Yes because everyone's been waiting almost 2 years for this to happen already. Both of them have been the only names with belts in they're division for pretty much the past 2 years. Why did we just waste 2 years waiting for Abraham/Pavlik at Middleweight? There was no reason for this fight not to happen. Now everyone just forgets about just like that. Just because Arum through out some BS about possibly a more exciting fight that can wait. It's pretty obvious that Top Rank does'nt want any part of Abraham. How much more blatant can it be?
Pavliks a ***** he don't want to fight Abraham. Bob Arum should get a licken for this. I can't believe they just kept Abraham just hangin like this. Seriously Abraham's gotta have close to 10 defences of the IBF belt already.Comment

Pavlik could be more vocal about wanting to fight AA but he hasnt be, Its a shame because AA only stucked around at 160 because he wanted the pavlik fight so bad, I dont care for the "Arum doesnt want the fight" excuses but he seem to want AA to disappear by moving up so the fight cannot be made, With the way Pavlik's career is going now he could have restored his credibility if he had fought and beat AA but i cant see it happening now...shameComment

Once again, dont see the Abraham hype, Lujan simon gave him a fight, and people actually think Pavlik is deathly afraid of him, but willing to go to 170 against Bernard Hopkins.Comment
