I'm sure more than 1,000 tickets have been sold, but it's not that hot of a fight. That's why they are trying to put on a decent undercard. I doubt many celbs attend the fight. It's going to be 50 Cent and Chauncey Billups and that's it.

It's pretty sad if boxing's "cash cow" can't sell out a fight in his hometown.

I bet Denzel and Tiger are there, they always turn up at Floyd fights.

If most ringside seats are still available , does this mean that floyd doesn't attract mainstream media stars?

Actually Floyd does. Big stars do not buy tickets though, they get them for free.

I guess this is why HBO was trying to put the fight on thier channel, not PPV so hard..

Brian Kenny needs to do another interview with Floyd and ask him what's going on with HIS draw and Marquez since he has a COUNTRY that backs him up..

Those guys just showed up at his last two.

When he fought Zab, many celebrities were there. Usher, Diddy, Jay Z, 50 Cent...

It's usually the promoter (which in this case is Floyd) that gets the celebrities to come. They contact them and give them tickets, it's a win win for both sides. The promoter makes the fight seem hot, and the celebrity gets the camera time.
