Pavlik vs. Froch Could Take Place in 2010, Says Arum

This fight would be bad ass. I still want to see Kelly fight Paul Williams and Arthur Abraham though. I think Pavlik would beat Abraham but I give Kelly **** on these threads because Abraham seems more determined to make the fight happen.

It has been hard for Kelly to make 160 but I don't think his game is at 168. If he wants to move up, he can't take on a top 2 fighter at 68. He just doesn't carry the weight well.

A good point but the weight wasn't what hurt Pavlik in the Hopkins match, it was Hopkins that made him look bad. I heard that Hopkins shot up to 186 pounds on the unofficial scale on fight night. He simply tricked Pavlik into taking more money for fighting at a higher weight.

Both Sturm and Froch are legit challenges. Pavlik has been saying it's becoming very hard to make 160 lbs, so he calls out for Carl Froch at 168 lbs and everybody blasts him for that? WTF? Also, I know that Arthur Abraham is also thinking about moving up, so what is wrong with AA vs Pavlik in late 2010 (if they both keep on winning)????

Because everyone's been waiting almost 2 years for this to happen already. Both of them have been the only names with belts in they're division for pretty much the past 2 years. Why did we just waste 2 years waiting for Abraham/Pavlik at Middleweight? There was no reason for this fight not to happen. Now everyone just forgets about just like that. Just because Arum through out some BS about possibly a more exciting fight that can wait. It's pretty obvious that Top Rank does'nt want any part of Abraham. How much more blatant can it be?

All I am saying is if I am having trouble making weight at 160, the last thing I would want to do is fight the best fighter at that weight. I have been looking forward seeing AA fight Pavlik as well but alot has changed since Hopkins beat him up. If he fights Sturm, Froch, P. Williams or Abraham next I will be satisfied because each presents a legit challenge, but please no more Sergio Mora's or the like....
