Don't you mean robbed you Cotto fans from him going to "SuperStardom"??
You idiots fail to realize all those power shots Margs did to Cotto.....NO ONE HAS DONE **** LIKE THAT TO HIM....NO ONE!!! If he really had Plaster in that fight, Cotto wouldn't be alive right now.Comment

He wasn't a big underdog in the Cotto fight. Lot of people picked Margs to win. Also Mosley was a 4-1 underdog if I remember correctly.Comment

Regardless... why would Margarito try to cheat in an easier bout and play by the rules in the harder bout?
I mean, really, since you decided to attack the "Cotto stans", I suppose it's only fair to let a "Margarito stan" speak his incomprehensible explanation about his fighter.Comment

How do we even know he really cheated?? How do we know Mosley didn't do something shaddy to get the attention off him?? You know Mosley has cheated before right??
Like I said in another thread:
Nevada and Cali aren't the same when it comes to inspecting. I think Nevada officials are better trained and more competent on looking out for stuff like that due to more big mega fights happening there. More experienced, you could say also.
Besides doesn't Vegas have like super strict rules when it comes to cheating?? I'm pretty sure even if Margs were to of cheated before, he wouldn't be that ******.
One more thing, a HOF trainer saw his hands get wrapped when he fought Cintron. He also fought Williams in Cali. Why don't people bring that up??

Oh we get it bro

But do you?
Manitos de yeso landed a lot of shots, there is no denying that, but that is only because his fist were loaded, in the rematch, Tony's punches will not have any effect and Tony will get stopped just like he was stopped against Mosley, take away the plaster and Tony becomes a human punching bag who hits about as hard as Paulie Malignaggi
If I had PLASTER in my gloves I would be throwing a bunch of chingasos too.
Who wouldn't?
That was Tony's little secret but the cat has been let out of the bag and the rocks have been remove from the gloves.Last edited by BoxingChaos; 06-11-2009, 03:37 PM.Comment

Well, I wasn't sure if I was remembering incorrectly or if you were actually a stan, but the first paragraph did confirm that my memory is working okay. How do we even know he really cheated?? How do we know Mosley didn't do something shaddy to get the attention off him?? You know Mosley has cheated before right??

Maybe he didn't cheat against tin man Cintron who he had already destroyed once, and he lost the Williams fight... maybe that was the time that he thought he really needed to do something to get ahead or his career was going to fall apart.
Anyway, whether the Vegas commission is better at their job than California means **** when lab tests confirm that there was illegal substance on his wraps.
By the way, you typed an awful lot of **** and didn't bother to answer my actual question.
What would motivate Margarito to cheat in his easy payday fight against old man Mosley, and not against undefeated superstar Cotto in his make or break fight for his career?Comment

Dude if Margs would of cheated and gotten caught in the Cotto fight, you have all the room to talk in the world. But he didn't so stfu.Oh we get it bro

Ok lets say(hypothetically) he cheated after Williams.....please explain the punishment he used to give to his opponents prior to that?? Please explain how he was champion for several years without this plaster??
Please explain all those shots that rocked Cotto by "smaller" guys. Don't give me this weight drain crap, Torres/Corely/Judah most likely hit a lot softer than Margs. Do you forget Cotto has a big weakness to uppercuts?? What is one of Margs favorite punches???
FYI it does mean ****, better trained means less room for errors.Comment
