Anyways Margarito landed about 240 power punches, and if he was plastered in there I really don't think Cotto would have been able to walk out of that ring
And that's only power punches.

1. Margarito, in a make or break fight for his career, against undefeated, dangerous Cotto fights a completely clean fight, and pulls it out under his own abilities and power.
2. Then, fighting against an over the hill Mosley, who lost to Cotto recently, he decides that there is no way he can win the fight under his own power, and needs to load his gloves to have a chance of winning this fight.
Yeah, makes perfect ****ing sense.

wether you'd like to wish something is true or not doesn't make it so. the only logic i use is that 240 power shots with loaded gloves would have ended Cotto's life. here's another scenario
1. Cotto, a fighters who has been dazed in almost all his fights, stands right in front of you and doesn't believe in guarding against the uppercut
2. Mosley, whom has never been hurt or dazed except in a handfull of fight, who's a better all around boxer, and who if you knocked out you'd get alot of respect for.
Now i dont have anything against Cotto and i'm not defending Marg but i just don't like assumptions being passed as fact. He tried to cheat against Mosley and until he admits otherwise we'll never know if he did against anyone else.Last edited by AllEyesOpen; 06-11-2009, 02:41 PM.

Umm, why didn't he do that when he fought Antonio Margarito??? All he left in the ring that night was his balls and a couple of knee imprints.

Yeah, makes perfect ****ing sense.
He was the underdog in the Cotto fight and I believe he was 6-1 favorite vs Mosley.
There is no way he decided to cheat for the first time vs Mosley.
