Why is Arum on Floyd. This has nothing to do with Floyd. Cotto has his style and Tony has his style. Why can't Floyd have his. There are fighters out there who can beat Floyd(Cotto, Williams, Shane etc.) and it would be sweeter for the one that beats him to beat him while he's fighting his style. Arum need to forget about Floyd and just make sure Cotto does not leave Top Rank end of this year.

only time arum mentions floyd is when he says that floyd does everything in his power to keep a zero in the loss column.

everyone always questions his balls. but think about it, the guy makes tons of money fighting no namers in germany. why would he have it any other way? for the right amount of money and right opportunity, he will most def fight pavlik and from the looks of things and what i have been hearing, sturm vs pavlik is going to get made.

i think him being blatantly robbed of a oscar victory had something to do with him not fighting in the states since.

Well folks, there is a way of finding out if there are any other victims out there.

1) It's reported that the wrappings had some blood or something that look like blood on it. If so I'm sure that it was not done in sparring! So that tells us that since the wraps were used, old and bloody... it was not the first time Margacheato tried them on.

2) The same wraps and under custody.... let's test the alleged blood against the DNA of this opponents... that will close the case.

Either way, you really have to be a Margacheato nuthugger in a bliss of denial in order to think that he was unaware or innocent..... if so, then you should be the first one asking for the testing of the wraps to declare your boy innocent.

Arum hit the nail on the head there.

Floyd beleves losing his zero is worse than death.

That's also the reason why 70% of this forum come on here after so many great fighters lose and shout - He's done! He's a *****! He got exposed!

If Floyd had a loss, he would have MORE fans.

The point being, if the fighter is more of a risk taker, he will earn his fans, win or loss, as we know. And losing is not the end of it all, many times its the beginning of a new model of fighter.

Its actually perhaps rooted in drama, the career of a boxer. Choose your favourite fighter. I'll use Mosley as my example. His career has success, then he hits his double losses, then back to success, double losses, bigger success, loss, major success.

Its an up and down storyline that earns him many, many fans.

Fighters like Floyd and Joe Calzaghe (both excellent fighters as they are) will never carry the same drama. Just my opinion..

oh, stfu dude!!! Bob Arum speaks the truth.. The real sentiment in boxing is that Floyd is so scared ****less of losing his precious zero that he would do anything.. ANYTHING to preserve it. His constant ducking and cherrypicking proves it. Enough said.

let's break this down on to what i care about this;

Pavlik vs Sturm- sweet I hope it happens but Sturm like someone said already doesn't care about fighting here because of the robbery he got upon DLH. he knows Pavlik is the great white hope so he will either have to knock him out or beat him in a manner like bhop did.

marquez-vazquez -don't care for this, 4 times is just way too much.boxing gets trilogies, not this ****. both should be fighting other guys unsless they are planning to fight each other until they retire. and i hope the promotional thing gets fix quick.

Fanbase:
Cotto - Cotto didn't lose his fanbase because he's not the one that cheated and he simply said: "what's done is done, I hope we get to do it again". he wants redemption and fans respect that.

Margarito- GTFO of here arum. Margo did lose a lot of his fan base BECAUSE HE CHEATED. after looking at how cotto ended up in their fight, most consider this and realize that he also cheated. unless u think that they would cheat for the fight being the heavy fav., right after beating the No.1 WW and right after the most important fight in his career. The fact that he DENIES it is the difference between him and mosley.

Mosley - he DID lose a lot of his fanbase after that. this is one of his problems, that he's not a huge attraction like he should. But, after adimiting it and fighting his way back, well most fans returned but people still talk about that.

Same way as it will be with margarito. He can become p4p No1 and that will always spark as one of his highlights, the plaster.

So BOB, what i don't understand is why are u so stuck up on margo when u have such great fighters in your ranch. Margo is done let it go
