The questions over those fights and the triangular nature make it an unreliable measuring stick imo.

Bottom line. In a straight fight, Cotto beat Shane.

But, in a straight fight Margarito demolished Cotto. Becoming the recognized man.

In a straight fight, Mosley DEMOLISHED Margarito... becoming the recognized man.

Cotto needs to beat Shane, or Shane needs to lose and Cotto needs to beat Clottey, for him to become the man again.

        IMO anyway.

Let me correct this writer Jake Donavan, every boxer that win a championship title has to do it with some type of alphabetic letter, all boxing tittles always will have some type of letters, I think is very disrespectful to use this kind of comparison.

But don't throw him in the same group as Floyd or Joe.

Technically he is in the same group, but out of those 3 I think Paq is the only one that would fight anyone if it was up to him.
