So when I replied to "There IS a first time for everything" with "Actually there isn't"Well to me figures of speach all have flaws when you really break them down. There can be a first time fore everything works also, in fact you are probably right that it actually ends up fitting better, but to me the statement works as is aslong as the person that says it realizes that it is not a sure thing but only a possibility, it really depends on what the person is trying to say.
I was not out of line correct? Because you cannot say something WILL happen... you can only say it CAN happen.Comment

Well, I look at the statment differently then you do so we are unlikely to really agree 100% (even though our views are similar), but I have not real issue with your stance.
Even if I strongly disagreed (which I really do not) I can't say you would be wrong, could only disagree.Comment

its like a gay guy asking to put his pecker in your ****** and you telling him, that will never happen....then he says, there's a fight time for everything

JMM >>>>>>>>>>>> shot Gatti (or any version)
I still think Mayweather is going to dominate this fight but if it's a Gatti type whooping I'll be susrprised, JMM is too good to get beat like that.Comment

I said a couple pages ago we were only arguing semantics at that point, and that our views were not that different.
To me it is all about the intent of what the person is trying to get across, if someone used that stamement saying something will happean, they would be making the mistake we were talking about to begin with.
Saying something will happean is just as wrong as saying something will not (with no room for unexpected outcomes).Comment
