Ruiz seems content with fighting the same opponents over and over again; I never could understand why he never pressed for a fight with Wlad....

        ho

Ruiz is still alive, i thought he went out with Byrd. Byrd and Ruiz, now those are 2 guys that ruined the Heavywieght division.I want to see Haye vs Ruiz. Although that would be a pick-em fight.

RE: Cards stacked against Ruiz, WTF???

Ruiz says the cards are stacked against him?

Maybe that is what he should get for making the most uneventful fights known to man! He is a hit and clutch fighter, plain and simple. When he doesn't hit and clutch, he loses (Holyfield vs Ruiz I, vs. Jones Jr, vs. James Toney), etc. I wish he would just get KTFO again vs. Tua, Haye or Areolla, etc. F*** him, let him rot....

So I take it you disagree. What makes you think he couldn't beat either Haye, or especially Peter?

ok, ill give ya peter...though if peter landed a big bomb it would be lights out.

David Haye is simply too athletic and too young for Ruiz to handle. Ruiz is an old man, and i think haye's speed would eat him up all night long.

I think Ruiz's chin is underrated and Peters power overrrated.

Possible. But Haye has never fought a top of the line heavyweight either so its hard to make that judgment. And contrary to his sucky style, Ruiz is a top of the line heavy. How much longer he will be is debatable, but as of now he's still up there.

Jab, as much as I hate to say this and I hate his style, he's actually a pretty good fighter.

Kind of in the way Cory Spinks is a good fighter, but he's not lacking in skill, just excitement.

He has a very good text book right hand and a very nice hook and his defense besides the holding, isn't too shabby.

It pains me to say this stuff, but I gotta be honest once in a while.

And his comp is really good overall.
