I remember that fight. John seemed in control in the mid rounds but in the late rounds he was "teetertotering" (sp?) all over the place. It seemed Juarez had him dangerously close to a KO most of the time... just my impression.

john was cruising alright... but he was @ least in my estimation was comfortably ahead in the scorecards...

it really would have been different (the result) if the fight was held in a neutral location... just my 2 cents too...

juarez is only good at fighting an opponent below the top ten rankings but he can't find his rythmn fighting those on top. i believe john would better his output than the last time he faced juarez.

john by unanimous decision.

Was not even close to a robbery. John won a maximum of 8 rounds and 4 of those were close. I scored it a draw Juarez did good in the last 4 and the first 4, while John sweept the middle rounds a draw was fair. I think I scored 1,2,4,9,11,12 for Juarez, what 10 or 11 rounds did you have John winning to claim a bad robbery. Now you can make a case for John winning the fight, prehaps a stronger case then Jaurez but that still does not make it anything like a robbery. BTW the press at the fight had widely varying scores ranging from 8-4 both ways~.

Although I think you are right that that was the best Jaurez can do while John should be able to improve on his preformence, so to me John should be able to win this one easy (in a much less exciting fight).
