Was not even close to a robbery. John won a maximum of 8 rounds and 4 of those were close. I scored it a draw Juarez did good in the last 4 and the first 4, while John sweept the middle rounds a draw was fair. I think I scored 1,2,4,9,11,12 for Juarez, what 10 or 11 rounds did you have John winning to claim a bad robbery. Now you can make a case for John winning the fight, prehaps a stronger case then Jaurez but that still does not make it anything like a robbery. BTW the press at the fight had widely varying scores ranging from 8-4 both ways~.

Although I think you are right that that was the best Jaurez can do while John should be able to improve on his preformence, so to me John should be able to win this one easy (in a much less exciting fight).

I dont remember my exact score, but I do remember saying "Bull****" along with about 5 other people watching the fight. I couldnt see any way to score that fight a draw. I had it wide for John.

First of all judging from TV is way different then judging fights live, so unless you were sitting ringside you should not really talk **** because you do not know what the judges saw from their vantage point. Jaurez was landing the more eye cathching punches through out the fight while John after round 8 was throwing bull**** shots.

A draw was closer to the reality of that fight then John winning anything more then 8 rounds, unless a fighter wins 10 rounds clean (John won 4 maybe 5 clean, about the same as Juarez to me) a robbery can not be discussed (it was a tough, close hard fought fight that could have gone to either man). John looked like he was on the way out in the final 4 rounds to me, I had John up 1 going into the 12th. If he could have pulled that round off he would have won on my card but he did not come close to winning that round in my eyes (although he fought with great heart since he looked to have nothing left at that point in the fight).

I dont think you have to win 10 rounds "clean" for it to be a robbery. That is insane. But if that is your viewpoint of a robbery, then I understand why you dont think the fight was a robbery. Did you also not think Lewis v Holyfield 1 was a robbery? I cant remember if Lewis won 10 rounds or not but it was a robbery no matter how you cut it. See what Im saying?

I though Holyfield Lewis was a robbery, I don't think Lewis lost a single second of that fight. That is one of the few fights that I would call a "bad" robbery (even then it was only a draw and not a loss so that kind of takes some steam out of a robbery, a draw is not a win but is far from a loss).

I have no issue with people thinking John won, because it was a close fight so by saying that it could go either way. If I think it was a close fight, I can't call it a robbery. I have had this arguement many times since this fight, I saw a close fight and a close fight can not be a robbery.

I hope CJ puts away Juarez cause I'm sick and tired of him always on a HBO card.
He's boring....same **** all the time and same result.

John was robbed and even all of us that were cheering for Rocky that night knew it.

To my eyes, the Indonesian Champion was clearly a winner. I am unwilling to delve into the definition of a robbery, but I had the bout 116-112 in favor of John. That wasn't the Chiris John I've been watching all along. He was a bit more exciting than he usually was. His fights were, more or less, action-lacking ones and that's how John took control of the battle. Next time around, he will fight the fight how he pleases. Rematch. John. UD.
