I think Mayweather struggled with ODLH and Hatton and they aren't as good as Diaz and Joel in my view. I'm gonna order the fight and not worry about what everybody else thinks of it. I'm more optimistic about the competitive prospects of the Mayweather-Marquez fight than I was with the Pacquiao-Hatton fight. Pacquiao picked a guy that had some underwhelming performances like against Lazcano for example. JMM blasted out Casamayor and Diaz in dominant fashion regardless of how the early rounds went.

Catchweight Manny
Manny is a sorry ass fighter. He's trying to pull that same bull**** he pulled on Oscar. He fought Oscar and let Oscar come in at 147, why don't he do the same for Mosley! This is not boxing when the only way you can win a fight is if you drain the guy. But yet you don't hear him talking about fighting Joan Guzman or Nate Campbell and they would come up to fight Manny. This is total bull**** and so is MannyComment

Uh, JMM is taking this cause he knows itll be his only big payday. Does he beat Floyd (NOPE). I wouldnt call it heart, I would call it more of a big pay opportunity. This is bull****! Manny can't even handle Mosley at 144 but JMM is
gunning for Floyd at 144 and people try to dis JMM and Floyd for
making their fight happen? On top of that Manny has been fighting
at the higher weights more than JMM. Whe it's time Floyd is going
to serve Pacquiao! This is blatantly Freddie and Team Pacquiao trying
to gain all the advantages in their favor. How can people even consider Manny over JMM, when JMM has more heart.
Also, I dont know why this thread was even posted cause Pac vs. Mosley aint gonna happen anyways.
Its Pac vs. Floyd then Pac retires. Mosley isnt even really an option.Comment

What's really the truth to keep it real...
Morales beat the **** out of Pacquiao, then lost to Raheem. One year later, only after Raheem proved Morales was shot did Pacquiao beat him.
Marquez beat Pacquiao twice, let's keep it real.
David Diaz was destroyed and grilled by Holt... Holt, not an elite.
Hatton "damaged goods" Hitman was on a severe decline after his loss to Mayweather, as claimed by Roach himself.
Pacquiao built his name on the backs of shot legends and is fighting weight drained bums to remain in the game.
U know what's really the truth to keep it real is to watch & analyse the fights again & again & try to understand how the scoring goes & stop complaining & crying about the Marquez/Pacquiao fight...No matter how dominant a fighter in a round it still scores 10-9, 1 knock down 10-8, 2 knock downs 10-7, 3 knock downs 10-6 that's why the 1st fight was won technically by Pacquiao not a draw because of a judge error, & the 2nd fight if u watched & analysed it clearly was 6 rnds to Marquez & 6 rnds to Pacquiao but the knock down makes the difference that makes it 114-113 in favor for Pacquiao...
Other fights u have mentioned are non sense, try to make a research first, a fair ressearch...

LOL! my wife cant stand it when my mom pronounces it like that, it is annoying. I imagine you are probably tired of the line, you related to Ozzy?? Man does that get old but guess it could be worse say for instance if my last name were Bush or Cheney...Comment

in some of their fights jake lamotta had as much as 15lbs on sugar ray robinson, sugar ray consistently fought at big weight disadvantges throughout his career, and never once made cowardly demands like the ones stated here.excellent post and very true. This is a simple case of economics trumping fighters common sense when it comes to their health. Can Mosley make 142 and be healthy? I guess only he knows but this is truly a diversion and the only thing that makes this fight a possibility is if Mayweather is upset by Marquez and Mosley is deemed a bigger draw than Manny vs Marquez 3. Honestly I dont see this fight happening no matter what Shane agrees to concede.Comment

I truly dont think this is coming from Pacman but his trainers and advisors. 142 is BS and does make Roach look like a bottom feeder again though it is a diversion and if he and Mayweather fight the "catch weight" will be 145 or 144.Comment

True, Oscar didn't think in a million years that would have been the outcome, and neither did anyone else except for those with absolute faith in Pacquiao. This fight was derided by nearly everyone saying it was a colossal mismatch, a joke of a fight, etc etc, and it was! It was a classic Irony demonstration. Nothing is worse than re-achieving greatness by trying to fold the odds in your favor then having it blow up in your face. I laughed when he lost just for this reason. Otherwise Oscar was a great fighter, but his ego caught up to him and he couldn't accept someone much smaller was usurping his limelight. That's called ego.
You hit it...good post...

Man, the Ozzy line is beyond old. My favorite response to that question of "Are you related to Ozzy?" is:
I'm not related to anyone worth a damn, sorry.
They always get a good laugh at that.Comment
