Looks like Johnson-Dawson 2 is going down in November, why not sooner?

I heard in Dan Rafael's notebook that this rematch is likely gonna happen in November. There is a slight possibility it may happen in September. But if not, it will have to be in November. It baffles me as to why it can't take place sooner than that. Is HBO's schedule stretched so thin that they can't pitch this fight to an earlier date? This makes me think that Gary Shaw is trying to get Chad any advantage he can use and wait until Johnson grows even older.

I don't really know if people are understanding the basis of my thread. I know that the rematch is overdue. But the fact that it's getting ready to get signed, why the hell does it have to happen all the way in November? It just seems odd to me.

They trying to get Johnson to be old as hell by the time Dawson fights him again. Disgusting this fight should have had an instant rematch, and not have taken this long for a rematch. All you people rooting for Johnson including me will be disappointed because he probably will get a one-sided beatdown this time now.

Don't get me wrong Glen Johnson has looked good at his age, but I still say he is no bhop at age will play a factor. Bhop clinched against people with high-workrates because of his age, I don't see Johnson clinching much in his fights. They fight totally different, and that is why age will be a factor.
