I think his thoughts are genuine:

    1) Wlad knows that fans will always have a question mark attached to him, since he didn't fight Lennox or another ATG. So far Vitali is seen as the better boxer no matter what Wlad does.
    2) His bro is getting older thus Vit will be maybe the last 2 years active. It's about time to settle things.

Nah, I'm sure their legacies are safe without a fight between one another. I would be very suprised if Wlad was serious about this at all. Besides, he has even made a statement to the fact that Vitali almost always wins rounds in sparring when they used to train together that way. He pretty much knows he would get owned. Both guys are master class but with a sturdier chin and his workrate, Vitali beats Wlad 9 out of ten fights.

      That's my take anyways.

With Vitali's Kickboxing career, no, it's on par

& he could use Ustinov as one example to mimmic a taller fighter for sparring with

also Vlad has stated that he's fought guys Valuev's size in the Am's

that said, i don't want to see it

Wouldn't surprise me. Gym wars take their toll the same as actual fights.

i read that kendall holts dad used to tie him and his brother (who was older and heavier) at the ankle with a rope and then make them spar, the purpose of the rope being so that they couldnt move around, forcing them to go toe to toe

I also think Vitali would win, but not easily.

The Klit brothers haven't sparred since Wlad began training with Manny and Wlad is much better now then when they sparred. Many has molded Wlad into a complete fighter, so this would be an interesting matchup.
