Nice post, it's amazing what happens when you apply a bit of logic to one's argument.
The problem is that logic is lost on Tunney and his hangers on. Most people who have feuded with Tunny tried the logic rout initially but after having to deal with post after post of abject nuthuggery, bias, and bigotry most just say "screw it" and take to making fun of the pathetic putz.

My post was intended to direct praise at the post I quoted, not to degrade other posters and add fuel to your flame war. I could care less about your ongoing argument against Tunny, so leave me out of it. I was just making it a point to compliment a post.

And I, in turn, was explaining why how such an approach has been tried before and failed. If you do not wish to be involved in something that is certainly your prorogative, BUT if that's the case then your best course would to have been to simply not resapond at all.
no, they interviewed haye on bunce's show on thursday. He wasn't physically in the studio, they spoke with him at his home.
It doesn't take three days to fly from cyprus to the uk.
No they interviewed Booth on Bunce's show. Not Haye. You obviously didn't watch it, but as i have already pointed this fact out to you three times, you obviously can't read. Any articles you saw that said Bunce interviewed Haye simply got their facts wrong.

My post had nothing to do with any poster on here, aside from the one I quoted. However, you apparently found it necessary to misdirect my post in order to fling **** at another poster with whom you apparently have a feud. You can attempt to spin it all you like though.

By the way, my comment is not so much directed at you man, I just see a lot of petty bull**** on this forum. I didn't mean to make an example of you, but it is more enjoyable if people can be civil is all. ****, now I'm sounding like an old man.
You're not just an alt you're a ****** alt to boot. For one thing there was no such thing as a "Cruiserweight" Division when Ali was fighting
Stop shouting. Stop using purple fonts or otherwise hyping your importance.
Type, don't Hype.
There WAS a cruiserweight division. They just called it heavyweight back then. Who cares whether they called 150lbs vs 150lbs "heavyweight" in the medieval ages. It stays 150lbs.
Schmeling vs Joe Louis (192 vs 198) WAS NOTHING BUT a cruiserweight fight.
Ali had 37 stoppages not 15 which makes for a KO% of 60.7. Before you make a moronic post you should at least check your "facts" first.
I didn't count KOs against sub-200 opposition and KOs after round 12.
Here are Ali's stats:
Ali fought against 37 (30 different) 200+ opponents. He scored 15+3 KOs (= 3 KOs in rounds 13+).
YAAAAAAWN.
But obviously you prefer him flying like a butterfly than KOing his opponents. Hey, the last time I checked heavyweight boxing was not a flying contest.
Compare this with Lennox (31 KOs in 40 fights) or Tyson (39 KOs in 52 fights) and you see the difference. Of course noone comes close to Wlad Klitschko (46 KOs in 54 fights). **I didn't count sub-200 opponents and DQ-wins)).
Take this fight: Ali (212) TKO15 Bonavena (204). Such a fight would run as CRUISERWEIGHT nowadays with a DECISION result. WHO THE HECK WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SOMETHING LIKE THAT? David Haye, who unified cruiser belts in a more dominant fashion than Ali was practically UNKNOWN.
And finally, most people are watching the smaller weight classes these days as no one is really interested in watching two morbidly obese tubs of lard hug each other ie. your typical Heavyweight fight these days.
This is wrong. Klitschko earns per fight probably more than Ali in 5-10 fights. The interest is immense. Maybe not in the US, because the US nowadays is more interested in hypejobs, trademarks and patents rather than real products.
Klitschkos are history in the making but people are too blind to see.

No, the only bogus is that they STILL call it heavyweight. That way deluded fans thing that Rocky Marciano is comparable to Lennox or Tyson. I didn't count KOs against sub-200 opposition and KOs after round 12.

I just love it when people show their ******ity without me having to actually expose it. It saves me so much work! Typical alt post though: Tunney or one of his groupies have to use alts to say what they REALLY think as they realize that doing it under their own names would bring far too much scorn and derission down on them.
Not everyone is going to like everyone. However the fact that time and time again you acuse fans of nasty intentions or ignorance only exposes you as the fool! Grow up. Some people don't enjoy watching particular styles. Wladimir happens to have a style that strikes a lot of people in that way and it doesn't mean they are wrong for feeling that way. Get over it.
I don't think it's actually his style.
I think it's his DOMINANCE.
He positions his opponents where he wants them to be positioned and then he beats them even more into submission.
We could assume that the opponents just came to be beaten, but this is obviously not the case as we know EXCITING ACTION FIGHTS of Wlad's opponents. It's Wlad's sheer dominance that makes opponents helpless.
And by the way: Everyone who is complaining about "Wlad being jab-jab-jab" needs to be reminded that Wlad's jab is harder than Ali's right hook.
