wlad has povetkin by sept 13 so I don't blame wlad for fighting someone else.one thing for sure is wlad works very hard & is the champion & hate talked his way to a shot but injuries happen & unfortunately it was the challenger not the champion hurt.

Wlad is getting an 85/15 slice, the fight is in Germany, and if Haye happens to win, he is contractually obligated to keep fighting a Klitschklo until he loses to one of them.

Its a bull**** deal and Wlad is doing everything he can to get out of fighting Haye. The people paid their hard earned money to see Wlad fight David Haye, not another handpicked stiff.

Wlad should probably fight Chagaev, I am sure some station would televise it in the US, even if you have to go the basic cable route to get extra exposure. I am not sure why HBO would turn this fight down, although they have been building the Haye fight but they can build it even more now down the road so not showing this fight which would be one of Wlad's better recent fights (although Chagaev has the layoff and is kind of unknown in the US, but is David Haye?) makes little sence to me, other then as a cost cutting move.

Especially since they already planned on showing the other fight.

have you seen chagaevs last fight? Or how about valuev vs Holyfield? My point is hbo won't chance another card in eastern Europe.bad judging,refs,often untested fighters with blown up records(botysov,dimitrenko,ibragimov,& numerous others).maskaev fought alot in the states & so has wlad.liakhovich fought several fights in the states too.if you don't expose yourself to American fans,you won't get the hbo exposure.let's face it Madison square gardens & vegas are the meccas of boxing.chagaev has been injury prone & I believe he's lost his luster.I'll still bet all my points on chagaev.

Obviously Haye is trashtalking & black enough, thus it gives USA a feeling of the "good old Ali & Tyson times".

Klitschko is maybe "too white" and too well-mannered for some.

Your sig says a lot: You claim Ibragimov has a blown up record, yet you put James Toney as #1 and Golota as #2 in your sig?

Toney's heavyweight record is 5 wins (1 KO) and 2 losses. He never won a world heavyweight title.
Golota also hasn't won a single world heavyweight title and his biggest win is over Kevin McBride. He lost all his major fights. Please don't compare such guys with Chagaev.

Half of Chagaev is worth more than a win over Toney or Golota.
