      LOL
I'm no Mayweather fan. I want to make that clear. I think the people who accuse Mayweather of avoiding Cotto don't hold much weight to the argument, but everybody else he did avoid. Margarito called him out to his face and Shane made Mayweather look like a total punk by doing the heavy lifting in that situation. And Shane never ducked Floyd regardless of what people say. Mayweather called Mosley out after his victory over Vargas because he knew he didn't have enough time to drop to 147 from Juniormiddle within a two month time span plus the De La Hoya factor. After Mayweather beat DLH and Mosley beat Collazo, Floyd picked a UK punching bag to beat up on. Now as far as Paul Williams goes, they are both managed by Haymon. But that doesn't mean Mayweather's legacy shoudn't take a hit for not fighting him. Williams mentioned Mayweather's name and expressed interest in fighting Floyd after he beat Margarito and Quintana in each of those post-figtht interviews. Mayweather has said before, "Who is Paul Williams?"

So what. Maybe there really was something wrong with Mosley's tooth. I'm no dentist. All I know is that Mayweather's PPV date with HBO was penciled in for November and any logical-minded person can come to the conclusion that Mosley didn't have that much time from the Vargas fight to go down to 147 from 154. He wouldn't have been able to lose the weight properly and I think that's the only reason Mayweather talked ****. I don't even think Mayweather had any intention of backing up what he was talking because he's pulled the same crap before with talking about fighting Winky Wright and bluffing before. Mayweather just saw dollar signs in his eyes with those fights with DLH and Hatton and now that Mosley wants a taste of the big money you Floyd nuthuggers make big hissy fit like a periodic vagina.

How do you know a Winky fight couldn't have happened? Winky's known for outpricing himself. We cudda had Taylor-Wright 2...

and if Shane was gonna have a problem with the weight he cudda said that instead of dancing around questions(doing his Floyd imitation)

And I aint mad at Shane wanting money fights but don't talk about Floyd ducking Shane...Shane claims he's the best fighter at 147 but he doesn't wanna take Berto's title and he turned down Paul Williams.

You're right, Mosley doesn't want to fight Berto or Williams. But a win over Berto would do absolutely nothing for Shane's career except getting him Jose's belt with Soto Karauss as a mandatory challenger. Berto is a total hype job and everyone knows it. Maybe I'm underestimating the power of unification fights but you saw what it did for Nate Campell. As far as Williams goes, at least Mosley was honest and said it was a bad style match up for him. And I'm a fan of both Shane and Paul. Floyd just said, "Who is Paul Williams?" I respect Mosley's explanation better. Another thing too, you'll be suprised of how people would discredit Mosley if he ever beat Williams at 147. People may come up with the weight drain excuse. On top of that, it wouldn't be a big payday. And it's not like Mosley has some kind of absolute obligation to get into the ring with Paul unlike Margarito's punk ass did.

Well beating Berto would move him closer to unifying the division. Fighting Paul Williams really doesn't do much for him IMO.

I aint got nuthin against Shane...Mosley-Mayweather(like Floyd-DLH) wudda been a great fight years ago...but Shane aint in his prime anymore.

You and I know if Floyd beat Shane, people would say he ducked Cotto and he's scared of Pac and he picked on a old Shane Mosley...
