I'm actually one of the people giving Mayweather the props he deserves for taking on a fighter the caliber of JMM. I don't like of how Mayweather is avoiding the elite fighters in his division, but he could've picked a fighter a lot less talented than Marquez. In fact, I think Mayweather actually wanted an easier fight, but the HBO matchmakers narrowed his options with a no mismatch policy. I even think JMM is a tougher fight than borderline contenders like Berto, Cintron, Collazo, and Quintana. I would've bashed Mayweather more if he would've picked a fight with one of those guys. Size isn't always what wins fights. Skills pay the bills. I even view JMM as a tougher fight than Cotto for Mayweather because he is more ring intelligent. I've even said JMM would beat Cotto because he has the best uppercut in the game, and Cotto is a sucker for the uppercut. My only gripe about this fight is that it seems like JMM is the one making the sacrifice to make it happen. The weight is the main factor.

This calling out people is bull****. What is this WWE? Just fight the best guys in your division and you won't get ****ted on, this catchweight stuff needs to stop. This goes for everyone including Pac, Shane, Cotto, etc. Also why would you call out a retired fighter?

While he can just wait for his opponent to be ready at his Level, i do give Floyd props for trying to fight the best IN THE PAST, but if he wanted to fight him before, why not fight him now when they are both in the same level and Shane is willing to fight this time... PLUS Shane is old as hell, i doubt that he wouldnt want to fight him before when he was more prime.

Tony looked more like a bigger version of Gatti than Castillo.
LOL
While Tony was in the safe confines of his PROTECTED wbo bubble..fighting the likes of....Maurice Brantley..Hercules Keyvelos..Sebastian Lujuan( 3 year rookie, first fight outside Argentina)...and Manuel Gomez.
Shane..Forrest..Mayorga..Spinks....Baldomir...Mayw eather were taking care of REAL business.
WHY DIDN'T MARGO DUMP HIS WBO TITLE AND JOIN THEM?????????????????
That's all he had to do..

Margarito and Cotto COMBINED don't even make an elite fighter.
