Listen. The man in your sig gets much respect throughout the boxing world. He's fought everyone, and ducked nobody. Even when everyone was counting him out as an old man just looking for a paycheck, he still faced top comp. He fought Calzaghe, and even stepped in the ring with Pavlik when everybody wrote him off by saying Pavlik would KO him. So why is it that Floyd cant get this respect? I'll tell u why. Everytime there's a credible threat to Floyd's 0, he ducks, runs, and makes excuses. Cmon, i know you're a fan, but dont u see the pattern here?

Bernhard Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters
as well, along with JMM and the Punisher and many
others. The thing that gets me about people bashing
Floyd is that, he may or may not be the best but he is
a hard worker, very dedicated and talented. The kid
has won and defended titles through 5 divisions, stayed
undefeated and out classed some good fighters and still,
just because he hasn't lost people say he hasn't fought
good fighters? Everything I read about him I can't cosign
because a lot of it doesn't make any sense, for example,
Cotto hasn't beaten any champs for titles and only won
and defended vacant ones and he's greater than Floyd?
I'm not cosigning that! Plus he wasn't ready for Floyd at
140?

Isn't that called ducking? Shane Mosley had numerous
chances to get at Floyd and opted to go for the bigger
brand like Floyd is doing now, so why is Floyd hated for
that and Mosley loved? PLUS Mosley Roided himslef up
to beat a man he beat before? Antonio Margarito? Is
a certified cheater PERIOD, who knows if he was cheating
back then? But all Cotto supporters will say he only cheated
for Cotto to give their guy a pass? My point is this, Boxers/
fighters are not perfect and sometimes they don't fight everyone
they are supposed to fight but to down play a man's achievements
because he didn't fight like 2 or 3 guys yet in one division when
he has been winning and fighting his whole career is not right to me.

I congratulate success, win or lose. The same guys
Floyds beat with ease had Cotto wobbled and almost out.
I like and respect Floyd as a boxer and business man, it's
not personal with me. I think the biggest gripe that everyone
has with him is that he hasn't lost and therefore he hasn't fought
anyone and to me that's LAME.

That 8 million was fake. How could he give PBF 8 million to fight Margarito yet can't get him 10 million against Cotto or Hatton or 20 million against Oscar

That's exactly what happened but cats on here don't see what it
really is and that's why I ride with Floyd because LOVE/HATE the guy
he reps himself and gets it done prior to his mouth. Floyd would have
got it on wiht Margarito/Cotto/Hatton for the right price. Get your
business right by stepping your game up. Instead of Mosley hating on
Floyd he should be taking notes. I bet you nobody after me who
doesn't like Floyd reply to this post.

Avenging losses doesn't make you this almighty fighter. Hagler didn't avenge his loss to Leonard, and you're gonna call him less of a fighter?

Fact is, Floyd is a great fighter who's taken minimal risk since he's made it to the big stage. Once he reached the top he just put on the brakes and went on cruise control while guys like Oscar win or lose always fought the best guys.

IMO, since his fight with Castillo and Corrales, he hasn't taken the toughest challenges and made excuses about money when if he were the draw, a fight with another top fighter would still pull bank. I think you guys overestimate Floyd's selling power. According to the **** I've been reading, Floyd vs Marquez isn't necessarily selling through the roof. Maybe people are starting to see the bull**** for what it is...and this is coming from a fan of Floyd the fighter (who I actually miss watching).
