Ah man, screw Mayweather. Who cares. Fighters shouldn't wait around for him, they should go right ahead and make plans without him. Basing their next move on what Floyd does would be weakass. Let Shane and Manny show Floyd how it should be done -- two warriors who are prepared to cut through the bull**** and get it on, no excuses about PPV draws, having losses, etc.

As for the fight, it's a dangerous one for Manny, but what the hell, if he loses, he loses. The important thing is he has the balls to get in the ring with anyone. Even better, he's prepared to fight the guys Floyd seemingly tries to avoid.

Regardless, I'll be betting on Manny if the fight happens, partly out of loyalty and belief in my fav fighter, and partly because I learned a long time ago that it's ****** to ever doubt the guy. Pacquiao is the real ****.

Your right but fact of the matter is that Floyd Mayweather Jr is a big
draw in boxing and one of the best fights to make and eventhough
Arum has been adament about not letting PBF get his way or fight
Manny, I bet points that Arum won't be able to stop or deny that
that fight from happening. Your also right about Manny, I doubted
him twice already and now I will be more precautious when he fights

This will be a great fight. Mosley willbe the stronger man and Pac should be faster! But nobody should understimate Pac's power or Sugar speed in this matchup. Let's hope Roach doesn't ask for a 142 catchweight, 144 is fair. It's probable this fight happens, the question is if Mayweather is willin to fight Cotto. Pac,Sugar,Cotto and May are biggest names right now, mix & match however u like and you'll have great and interesting fights; with winners fightin for the mega fight and losers for a superfight on 2010. Pac/Mayw is the biggest one but it'd be bigger if they wait til 2010, so Pac/Sugar in oct and May/Cotto in december(assumin they take care of business). And let's see what happens next, for sure great fights in 2009 and 2010. Sounds great,will it happen?

This is a dumb move in the part of Pac he should've waited for both Cotto and Floyd to get through with their fights so that he could sit down and negotiate. But I give props to Manny for having such huge balls. Mosley is not a shot DLH or a chinny Hatton and I don't think he's going to win this one.

i don't know if this will happen or not or it's just a way to get floyd and cotto on the table for both fighters.

before this announcement , i thought it'd be the 2 top rank fighters (cotto and pac) against each other and the 2 gbp fighters (mosley and may) against each other.

i guess now if this goes through it'll be pac-mosley and cotto-floyd.

i'd much rather see cotto-pac but either would be good fights.
