Oscar was drained for sho,but I think the weight effect is overated,Oscar didn't have to lose 25 pounds like Roy for tarva,everybody look like a tired ***** against Manny,or a dead ***** in Hatton's case.






Marquez get his ass dropped 6 times by the phillipino real deal and lost both fights fair and square tough he outboxed Manny in the later rounds.It was at 130.
If Floyd doesn't knock out Marquez at 145,he's a fraud.

You are absolutely right about that Grustler. I'm no fan of Floyd, but people underestimate how tailor made Cotto is for Mayweather. It's like after he barely sc****d by Shane Mosley people tagged him to be the guy to take Floyd's 0 and I've just never bought into it. Just like I don't buy into Chad Dawson being able to beat Joe Calzaghe, because I saw what Glen Johnson was able to accomplish on him. And I don't like Calzaghe and Mayweather. Cotto can't defend uppercuts to save his life and it's not like that punch isn't in Floyd's arsenal. And you are right, all those other guys expressed 10 times the interest in fighting Mayweather than Cotto ever did.

Cotto talk that has been going on for years because I always viewed
Cotto as a work in progress. Every fight Cotto gets a lil better but
Floyd is already there and frankly I always felt like Floyd is too ring
savvy for Cotto. Cotto's pressure would be used against him because
the only way I could see him being effective is if Floyd let Cotto
dictate the fight and get into an exchange with Cotto but we know
that wouldn't happen. Cotto is wide open for anything you throw
at him and Floyd is just too accurate and fast for Cotto to avoid PLUS
Cotto doesn't even like to tie up or hold. At first I thought Dawson
could give it to Calzaghe but I don't think Chad is a big enough or
active puncher for Calzaghe. Inorder for Chad to beat Calzaghe he
would have to come off strong in the opening rounds when Joe is
cold but if he lets that fight go past the early rounds then Dawson
would be toast because Calzaghe is just too busy and gets stronger.
Dawson is missing a lil something that is keeping him from being
a real problem and I hope he finds it.
