I Totally agree with this thread. It is hard not to pull for a fighter who is of the same national origin as your self. And there is nothing wrong with it either!!! So everyone should just let that slide if that is a persons reason for liking an athlete!!! It doesn't bother me at all.

Nobody has to defend their reasons for rooting for a fighter (unless it's Ruiz, of course).
But, it comes down to objectivity.
