You're right. One the Clottey workrate, that is Clotteys weakness...his workrate is very poor, and I've seen him look lackluster before but against poor opposition. Alot of time with Boxers major fights is where elite fighters like Cotto and Clottey turn it up another a few more notches.

If Cotto falls for the same thing against whom I consider a poor technical boxer in Shane Mosley, especially to a right cross, street fighters through that...what is he going to do against a man who mixes the punches up, to the body and face, who doesn't block with his head...like margarito. Who covers up, who is physically as strong and big as he is (judah wasn't). See Cotto has struggled and been fooled by lesser boxers(torres and mosley) and smaller weaker men( Judah and CorleY) Cotto can be timed. Cotto does not like to stalked, he likes to do the stalking. Clottey when stalked, meets his stalker and fights, no running. Physical condition, goes to clottey, boxing skill, another for clottey, workrate....cotto....that can be easily neatralised. Who has the stronger chin is a no brainer, Clottey. Clottey wins in too many categories.

Also that right that Clottey shoots up the middle is very hard to see, he nailed Judah with it all night and truth be told, Judah isn't the easiest guy to hit, he's waay faster then Cotto, Cotto has been nailed by lesser boxers like Margo and Mosley, so when he fights a better boxer at the elite level, his weakness will be on the forefront. Its been a longtime coming for Cotto, this is it here. He's seen his best days, its Clotteys time.

Clottey is too defensive to have an effective aggressiveness vs cotto. I see this 116-112 and higher for Cotto, maybe even late TKO(referee stpg) ....

No hate on cotto but, that fight against jennings was a total joke...you can,t think that jennings prepared cotto for clottey or can you???he should have fought someone with a better record or someone who would push him and make him fight to see if there was any ill effects from the margarito fight...we all know cotto is a confident fighter but he should have taken a couple of tune up fights before going after the big fish...i personally think clottey is going to break cotto will because he will see if theres any quit in cotto the first 3 or 4 rds. And then begin to walk cotto down and finish him in 8 rds....just remember clottey was beating the **** out of margarito before he hurt his hand and still was hitting marg with some clean shots while being hurt...and i know that margs chin was something sick back then and he was ripping clottey with some shots as well...i just think the better, stronger fighter will be clottey period...if anyone thinks cotto will beat clottey please explain why when he will be the smaller man fight night???

Cotto took a beating against Margarito, Clottey went into a shell and stopped punching, got tired and concentrated on not getting KOd, how's that for heart? You guys picking Clottey to just over power and break him down, seriously need to watch some Clottey fights, he fades and made Judah look very active! Now, Cotto is in for a tough fight, we still haven't seen Cotto vs some adversity after the Margarito fight but I see another Abdullaev fight, only that Abdullaev had better stamina.

It's funny how people here overate Clottey, he couldn't even take out a shot overweight Corrales. Now all of the sudden Clottey is a huge power puncher who breaks people down when he hasn't had a KO in years. A lot of the people here talking **** have probably never seen Clottey fight. I have seen plenty of Clottey fights and if he couldn't take out Sharmone Alvarez, Judah it was a TD or Corrales what makes you think he's going to take out Cotto.
