Hes taken waaaaaaaaaaay more punishment in his career than has Clottey...Fought Corley, nearly knocked out, Fought Judah, Nearly knocked out, Fought Torres nearly knocked out, Fought MArgarito...10th ound he was T.K.O's either waay plaster or no plaster it was the worst beating he had taken. Clottey walked Margarito down and was beating the **** out of him face to face, COTTO RAN an still took an L. No brainer folks....Clottey is gonna put it on him....Knowing how Cottto is I wouldnt be surprised if he gets disqualified for low blows to save his ass. Cause he'll low blow, rabbit punch, take a knee or give up before he getz completely K.O'd, Clottey is gonna finish him. Sorry but its only Logical..I think it's Clotteys time

With that being said, I think the only guy who can beat CLottey is Mayweather. Judah was winning on points but couldn't take anymore of the hitters hits....Mayweather is in better shape then Judah and slightly better. That my Opinion.

To won up the thread starter I got Cotto losing by disqualification or T.k.o IN THE 9th round

    MARSMAN BABY!

    See you later....uCanucks!
I agree on the Cotto but wouldn't count him out. Clottey will run through Mayweather. Mayweather too light. PBF better stay away from Clottey. PBF is not a true Welter.

Looking at the Cotto vs Shane fight, Cotto never moved his head and let shane load up right hands all night long. When Shane got Cotto in trouble (before the water stoppage(pretend I didn't say that), Shane didn't know how to set Cotto with a jab and foot work. Shane just swong for the gates. Shane kept doing the same thing and Cotto didn't adjust to what he was doing. In the Rito fight, he never brong the fight back to the center of the ring. Just moved from post to post. (Why) Most of guy's he fought (besides Shane) he was able to run straight through them. Shane or Rito doesn't have good defense and will take a punch and give one back. He was able to get away from some of Rito head shots because you can see them a mile away. Thats why Rito went to the body to stablize Cotto on the ropes and than to the head. Cotto has stamina issue, against guy's he can't get out of there and have to war with.

Clottey work rate is a turn off to people. (Not enough offense) Hope Cotto don't tired out and have to fight in the pocket. That will be the end of Cotto. Cotto is not a 12round fighter.

Everyone who loves cotto will be rootin for him to win ... But i,m not saying i,m a clottey fan but, i don,t care how much time clottey,s been out the ring, all i know is he will beat the breaks off of cotto and if cotto trys to box and move he will become fatigued and his ass is grass and clottey will be the lawnmower...clottey all the way and i said it will go 7 or 8 but now just looking at cotto workout pics and all the distraction in his camp i think he gets ****d in 6...

You're right. On the Clottey workrate, that is Clotteys weakness...his workrate is very poor, and I've seen him look lackluster before but against poor opposition. Alot of times with Boxers major fights is where elite fighters like Cotto and Clottey turn it up a few more notches.

If Cotto falls for the same thing against whom I consider a poor technical boxer in Shane Mosley, especially to a right cross, street fighters through that...what is he going to do against a man who mixes the punches up, to the body and face, who doesn't block with his head...like margarito. Who covers up, who is physically as strong and big as he is (judah wasn't). See Cotto has struggled and been fooled by lesser boxers(torres and mosley) and smaller weaker men( Judah and CorleY) Cotto can be timed. Cotto does not like to stalked, he likes to do the stalking. Clottey when stalked, meets his stalker and fights, no running.Clottey also times his punches vey well. All things Cotto has major problems with. Physical condition, goes to clottey, boxing skill, another for clottey, workrate....cotto....that can be easily neutralised. Who has the stronger chin is a no brainer, Clottey. Clottey wins in too many categories.

Also that right that Clottey shoots up the middle is very hard to see, he nailed Judah with it all night and truth be told, Judah isn't the easiest guy to hit, he's waay faster then Cotto, Cotto has been nailed by lesser boxers like Margo and Mosley, so when he fights a better boxer at the elite level, his weakness will be on the forefront. Its been a longtime coming for Cotto, this is it here. He's seen his best days, its Clotteys time.

Tito vs Winky all over again like Risario, and we know who Dominated.

Clottey wont just win, He wil Dominate.

Sick of all the Cotto-haters, I hope he wins so I don't have to hear them **** on him anymore. Oh wait, they'll still **** on him by saying Berto would have beaten Clottey like that one dumb poster said... Idiots! And the other poster who said Cotto and Clottey are ****!
