Of course they will. If his haters can't give him credit for his greatness so far in his career, then there's nothing he can do to prove it to them. They don't hate him for what he does, they hate him because of things about himself that he couldn't change even if he wanted to. It's the same reason why they hate Paul Williams and why they would have hated Jack Johnson or Ali if they lived back then.

my point is that most time floyd denigrates his opponents as does his fans, so when floyd beats them, it takes away from the luster.

example 1: floyd calls gatti a C-class fighter. so why does floyd want praise for fighting a fighter that he called C-class?

example 2: floyd called JMM and Pac too small to beat him. So how does floyd calling pac and jmm smaller fighters give him more glory and praise???

ever since floyd came out of retirement, I have been begging his fans to be a little gracious towards his opponents so that floyd can get the maximal credit for his fights w/ jmm and pac, but non of them listen to me.
