Why a lot wrong , because the average fighter rehydrates about 10 pounds , some up to 20 pounds , thats a big wrong when only one guy does it

You dont trust it because you dont understand it from first hand experience , to ignore the fight weights of fighters in favor of weigh-in weight is not the way a professional punter would analyze the performance of a fighter , its like ignoring the weight on a racehorse at race time because he carrys a big track rider day in and day out ,,,, fight weight is super important !

The point is that there's significank doubts towards the accuracy. Also note that fighters will have a reason to weigh-in at the unofficial scale as heavy as possible for intimidation purposes.

Point is that the HBO weigh-in is just for fun. Don't put anything significant in it.

But there is a noticable trend in just about every fighter, their fight night weight is usually about the same amount from the weigh in, that unofficial scale is real and pretty accurate if you ask me.

It would be interesting to get a quick glimpse at the HBO weigh-in.

So you don't trust what Floyd says his walk around weight is or what Freddie Roach says Pac's weight is during training or what his expected weight should be on fight-night?

It is word of mouth, I'll give you that. But I'm just saying: If Freddie says 147 is the expected fight-night weight and it is spot on 147...or 148 like it was for Hatton, there has to be some accuracy for it.

But yes, there is room for inaccuracy.

But how do we know the "official" scales aren't tampered with as well?
there has been talk about this in the past as well.

How do you KNOW it's accurate?

Thats right Benny ,, what we do know that is fact is they go up a lot from weigh-in weight and it sounds ridicules to me to argue the point based on a weight ( dehydrated) that we know for sure is a long way from fight weight , how long is a piece of string you would be crazy to say it has no length ,, we know the official weight is not fight weight !!!

I believe the real reason people dont want to accept what HBO and the trainers say is that it doesnt suit the agenda of haters, I cant think of a single reason why HBO would lie if they did Im sure somebody would protest the stated fight weight ,,,, officially nobody ever has as far as I know .

I believe the HBO weights are very close , its to HBOs benefit that they are , no complaint in any interview by anyone , nothing anywhere that suggests its not at least semi accurate .

Because of the reasons below. They cast doubts IMO.

Is the weight a bathroom weight and is it placed completely horizontal?

Is the weight at the same place when both fighters step on it?
